Brütal Legend is an action-adventure that marries visceral action combat with open-world freedom. Set in a universe somewhere between Lord of the Rings and Spinal Tap, it’s a fresh take on the action/driving genre, which in this case is full of imitation cover bands, demons intent on enslaving humanity and Heavy metal tunes.

Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.14/day in the week to Jul 30 → 2.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
This game literally has everything you can ask for. Fun fighting, RTS, banging sound track, babes, good art direction, Jack Black,
Ozzy
. Seriously, what more can you ask for?
This game is just if Jack Black was the mc of an isekai anime except the world is Dante's Inferno and I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ love it. Also Ozzy is here (RIP my goat)

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 9: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

This game is reviewed best in two stages: Practically: This game is a love letter to metal. The culture, the history, the striation, and features numerous standout cameos of storied fame from halls of metal itself. Also with Tim Curry. Mechanically: This game is super fun to play and fairly well constructed, the only gripe I have is that the RTS segments seem a bit awkward in control. If any metal listening game player out there hasn't played this then you owe yourself some quality time pleasing the metal gods. Don't make Ozzy cross with you.
Brutal Legend is what happens when Jack Black, heavy metal and a fever dream fuse into a video game and somehow it goes absolutely hard. The world is dripping in style, the writing is genuinely funny and the soundtrack is so good it should come with a prescription. Eddie Riggs is peak fictional human being. The only catch is that halfway through, the game looks you dead in the eyes and goes surprise, it's an RTS now. It comes out of nowhere like a jumpscare and does not have the range. Still, the rest of the game is so unironically awesome that it carries hard. Easy recommend if you like metal or just vibing in a world that goes absolutely insane. [8.5/10]
esse jogo é tao brutal que o beta nem sabe que esse jogo existe, muito brabo tá
warning for some spoilers(??) honestly if youre into metal you just HAVE to play this game, as its literally a love letter to the entire scene. its crazy to think this gem originally came out back on the xbox 360 and it passed so much time since, but the atmosphere still holds up perfectly the quantity of bands that made it into the game is just insane as well (over 100 tracks from 75 different bands and artists). blasting through the map in the car while bands play at full volume gives you an unmatched adrenaline rush... like hell they even put Dethklok in. plus, the cameos are top tier: lemmy using bass strings to heal you, rob halford, and ozzy osbourne literally upgrading your car as the guardian of metal. the dark fantasy/gothic aesthetic mixed with jack blacks humor is perfect too the gameplay changes a bit later on into some weird real-time strategy concert battles, which can get a bit chaotic and clunky (you can definitely tell it was mapped for an xbox controller originally), but honestly theres nothing more brutal than chopping up demons with an axe and literally melting faces with guitar solos so it makes up for it completely they really dont make games like this anymore XP
A gimmicky but complete product. At first glance I thought this kind of game would be best enjoyed as a more linear and direct experience because where I thought the game shined were in the fire sequences and the combat situations. But as I indulged more into this tiny world created revolving around heavy metal, a unique thing with distinct characteristics, and seeing these same characteristics being applied in every context and present in every miniscule aspect of the game, it made me understand why it was built as an action-adventure experience. The design of the mobs feels bland at first, and you will get tired of them pretty early because there are 4-5 different types of mobs initially, you will find more as you go through the game, and since there are army battles with a lot of troops, they become repetitive and tiring on the eye. Some of the designs are really something new, and all of them are in theme. Character design is also good and funny when necessary. The world feels empty and is filled with side missions that are just repetitions of the same 3-4 missions, but the real enjoyment comes from experiencing the details in every step of the game, from the structures and vehicles to the weapons and collaborations. Every collab does a great job, producing great voice acting while the dialog felt natural and followed the right flow. The hack-and-slash is not the best and felt clunky, I think especially because it did not let you combo very smoothly between the primary weapon and secondary weapon and because of the lock-on system, which was weird and obstructing. The boss fights are always gimmicky, and there's no real sense of danger, as are the RTS sections because your character is able to respawn infinitely. RTS sections were fine, nothing new or revolutionary but solid and engaging. Being able to do solos mid-battle to apply buffs and create attacks also felt pretty badass. The soundtrack and voice casting are the biggest valors in this game, as they are great and carefully selected for the right scenes. The main menu and credits sequence are also special and unique. There are bugs, some crashes and unexpected situations occur from time to time, but nothing really game-breaking. The ending felt inconclusive and leaves many blank canvases to be drawn.
Guitar Hero and Rock Band may be gone, but at least we still have this snapshot of a gaming era that will probably never exist again.
Cara, E um dos game mais foda e divertidos que já joguei. A historia e interessante. A trilha sonora e do caralho de bom. A arte e foda. Os personagens são bons Simplesmente um jogo FODA.
It is a cardinal sin that they never made a sequal to this game... Heartbreaking even. And GOD ABOVE the sound track to this game... <3 All of it to the respective factions, Ironheade, Drowning doom and The Tainted Coil. More than enough for everyone. And plenty for those who are new to the world of heavy metal who dont quite know where to dip their toes into.
