I was excited for this game but it was glitchy, froze often, and would frequently crash. There was one particular part I couldn't make it past because it crashed every time. I eventually just gave up.

A beautiful and emotional journey with one of the most unique control schemes out there. The narrative hits hard without a single line of spoken dialogue, and the pacing keeps you fully engaged. The only thing holding it back from a perfect score is a slightly more personal enjoyment rating, but it's undeniably a masterpiece. 9.5/10 fully recommend!

Завораживающая сказочная атмосфера, обилие классических ходов, красиво и грамотно вписанных в визуальный нарратив. Последний акт игры самый интересный, очень сильно цепляющий своей неожиданностью. Игра оставляет после себя приятные впечатления и множество вопросов к природе собственных убеждений.

Wow... una storia dolce amara che ti trascina con violenza ma dolce, uno di quei giochi da giocare da solo, chiuso in stanza nel cuore della notte tutto in una sola volta. Come fa immedesimare questo gioco, direi ben pochi lo fanno. E non si è mai abbastanza adulti per giocarlo... anzi tutt'altro. Onesto penso sia un gioco che se giochi ogni tot anni, crescendo capisci e comprendi molte più cose rispetto la volta prima e direi che è un pò come un "Piccolo Principe" videoludico. Stra consigliato rigiocherò sicuramente altre mille volte e so chi si fida a comprare questa piccola perla, capirà a pieno queste parole. Gioco che segna l'anima e che ti fa piangere di tristezza e gioia e ti fa fare quei sorrisi sia gioiosi ma anche quei sorrisi che dentro c'è un cuore spezzato. Utente che leggi ciò ricordati queste parole, fidati di me e giocalo non te ne pentirai... ANZI, tornerai qui a concordare ciò che ho detto e ringraziarmi. Questo ormai è un pezzo del mio cuore e della mia anima... voto: 1000/10.

so very fun, played it with brother. gooned like crazy

I originally played this almost a decade ago on the PS4 and absolutely loved it – the touching story and creative gameplay approach made for a memorable experience. When the remake was announced a while ago, I decided it was finally time to replay this classic on PC as well. It holds up well – still looking good enough to not really need a remake, and importantly still hitting just as well in terms of gameplay and story. With three hours to 100% the game it was even shorter than I had remembered it, but these days I really appreciate these focused and well-crafted experiences where no time is wasted or filler. (Recently I also played [i]Inside[/i] again, which feels quite similar in that regard.) It was funny to discover only after finishing the game again and reading up on it a little bit that this was actually Josef Fares' first game – makes perfect sense in hindsight, but I wonder how I never read about this connection anywhere given how much attention his recent titles have (deservedly) gotten.
