Прекрасная история от творцов из Starbreeze и первый опыт Юсефа Фареса в игровой индустрии перед созданием его будущих хитов - "A Way Out", "It Takes Two" и других.

I love this game! Its story is basic but very well told, its concept & mechanics are novel, again simple but fully explored in a game that is the perfect length for what it does. The ambience is very well realized, the music is good. On a more personal level, this is the first game that made me think of mechanics as something that can & should support the story and the emotion that the game tries to instill. Plus it takes me back to simpler times.
════════════════════════════ BROTHERS: A TALE OF TWO SONS ════════════════════════════ I thought I was playing a game. I was wrong. You don’t control characters. You share a bond. Every puzzle feels simple. Every step forward feels earned. Every silence says more than words. The world is quiet. The journey is slow. And at some point, you realize the game stopped teaching mechanics and started teaching emotions. No dialogue needed. No explanations given. You just understand. And when it ends, you sit there for a moment, holding the controller, not ready to move on. ════════════════════════════ VERDICT ════════════════════════════ Short journey. Lasting impact. Highly Recommended.
No local co-op, misleading tag. Also, very silly not to include one in the game, would be the easiest thing to do.
Pros: ‣ Decent story that nearly made me cry as I've been through this journey. ‣ Pretty environments to look at, and scattered benches you can sit on that emphasize this. ‣ Solid audio work. Aligns with the surrounding world. ‣ Much more graphic than expected. Definitely not a family-friendly title. ‣ Puzzles were not hard but were kind of fun (though some actions got repetitive). Cons: ‣ Short. ‣ No idea what was being said, although the subject matter is obvious. ‣ Movement is stifled when the camera rotates, and required constant re-adjustment. Took away from the experience where movement of two characters is key. ‣ Mostly linear and fixed pathways. ‣ There are boss battles but defeating them is not any more of a challenge than the rest of the game. TL;DR Take a short dip in to a fantasy world where the goal feels meaningful but achieving said goal is simple. This game will hold your hand and then try to hug you. Good for a single playthrough if you can get over the joystick issues. Would grab on a sale.
A beautiful and emotional journey with one of the most unique control schemes out there. The narrative hits hard without a single line of spoken dialogue, and the pacing keeps you fully engaged. The only thing holding it back from a perfect score is a slightly more personal enjoyment rating, but it's undeniably a masterpiece. 9.5/10 fully recommend!
I was excited for this game but it was glitchy, froze often, and would frequently crash. There was one particular part I couldn't make it past because it crashed every time. I eventually just gave up.
Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons
