BEAUTIFUL game, completely abandoned by developers, physically impossible to play now due to servers being down for over a year, yet still on the steam store for 25$. remembering this game makes me so sad.

Solid core gameplay and fantastic character design, music and backstory. A treat for anyone who's a fan of team-building fighters

this game rules! if youre a fan of pokeonline or pokemon in general its absolutely a get, its just so funny, charming, and the music rules! character design and interactions add another layer to it, and its just all around so so good ☻♥☺

The game itself was nice, but the development team fell apart and it is now abandoned. It's unplayable as the servers are defunct. It seems like it lasted around 3 months before being discontinued completely. Feel a bit scammed. However, I wonder [b]how[/b] did I get 42 hours in this game? Did I leave it open at all?

Review on 4/3/26 They killed the sever the game was on even tho it never needed a server. Seriously ♥♥♥♥♥♥ not to have a offline version. Genuinely sad as the game was very fun and well done. Needs pulled off the Steam page as it's literally not able to be played. Really don't understand why it wasn't offline. This review was done on 23/06/2022 the game is current in early access and this review reflects that. Currently their is rumors that the devs have disbanded and said that they aren't planning any more updates but I can't confirm or deny this. Just something to be knowledgable when buying. Fun, Fast, and a more slick pokemon. Tho has a issue or two. THE BAD: -No offline mode (This is baffling why this is a thing. If I had to guess it's to deter cheating but I don't get why the main game needs to be connected while I'm doing it. Didn't even realize this was a thing until someone pointed it out. I get it has online in the name but still. Lol) -The online doesn't have anyone on. (I'm not sure but it could be my location.) -The Pro Jeff fight (Legit the amount of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ was getting me heated. Might just be my skill tho.) -Short. (Tho I suppose when more are running online it'll be better. The main game doesn't have a lot once you unlock all the fighters.) THE GOOD -Fun art style -Fights are deep when you start tinkering -The main game path was enjoyable -I never felt like any of the fights were just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ except the Pro Jeff fight -Each character can be modded to match how you want to play them. OVERALL Fun game but I'd wait til there is more content if you don't like short games. If you are fine with short games this is fun. Very fun if you like pokemon. Also I wouldn't currently buy this if it's not on sale. THINGS I'D LIKE TO SEE ADDED -A random battle mode. (I feel like if there was randomly generated cpu opponents it could help pad the game's run time or once all the main stuffs done a other premade teams to battle against.) -Offline mode. (This should of been a thing when the game came out. No hate for the developers but I don't get how it's more easier to have to have severs. Also it's gonna have to be added if the online player base stays as dead as it it. Tho I also don't know how long they'll be able to keep the severs running or even if that is a worry they have to face currently.) -Modding Mode (If this is done it should be last.I think something like the ability to make custom characters would be what I'd want. Conceptually I adore this game, it takes the basis of competitive Pokemon but reconfigures it all in an extremely easy to pick up but satisfying to master experience that's becoming increasingly accessible with each major update. Love the aesthetic and the soundtrack, adore how unapologetically gay and trans this cast of Brave fighters is, really look forward to seeing the story be expanded overtime. Understandably the multiplayer component is fairly quiet atm (there is direct MP duels at the very least so you can avoid waiting in the lobby) so I understand the initial hesistence but there's so much potential in Bravery's core gameplay loop that I highly recommend supporting this game as soon as you can. It's not one to sleep on, no joke. I really hope that the GLOAM team continue to get support for this!
