Game is jittery, has constant screen tearing and is nauseating to look at; disabling fish eye lens, increasing fov, enabling vsync and limiting fps does not fix it.

For 6 bucks its a pretty unqiue way of visualising your game library. And you can make a really cozy space just with what they give you at launch. Monthly updates is also always a good sign.

Oyun erken erişim oyunu, az eşya olması, eşyaların renk seçeneklerinin bulunmaması falan ilerde değişecektir o kısımdan yana o kadar da büyük bir sıkıntım yok ama alacaksanız 26 Haziran 2026'da seçeneklerin az olduğunu da bilin. Oyunun asıl albenisi steam kütüphanesindeki oyunları fiziksel bir odaya dizebilmek, arada sırada bu odanın raflarını karıştırıp oyunu buradan oynayabilmek falan. Hem oyunun kendi fragmanında hemde Youtubetaki videolarında falan kutulu oyunların kendilerine özel resimleri var, kutuyla oyun içindeki monitöre, kuş logolo eşyalara tıklayınca o eşyanın deseni ilgili oyuna göre değişiyor falan. Ama oyun içinde gösterildiği gibi kutular direkt resimkli gelmiyor, bütün oyunların kutu resimlerini sen tek tek elinle yüklemek zorundaymışsın. Sebebini biraz araştırdım, Steam gizlilik vs sebeplerinden oyun görsellerini çekmesine izin vermiyormuş sanırım. Kendileri bu durumu engellemek için İtch.İO da harici bir araçla düzeltmişler sanırım. Eğer Windows kullanıcısıysanız ve oyunu dıştan bir araç ile oynarım yinede falan diyorsanız siz bilirsiniz yine de ama bence değpmez. Aracın ne kadar stabil çalıştığına da bakamadım çünkü Linuxa bu aracı da çıkartmamış kendileri maalesef. Kendi vadetiği şeyleri bile yapmayan oyuna para vermeye değmez.

Refunded almost immediately. I want to give a certain level of credit to a game in Early Access but this is pathetic: The game DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY ADD BOXART to your games AND DOES NOT DETECT ANY NON-STEAM PROGRAMS. There are supposedly workarounds to make this happen but they all require downloading a separate tool outside of the game (which is not advertised anywhere) and seems like a lot of file-digging and tinkering to make work (especially on a Steam Deck). You can add custom artwork to your games but this requires downloading and applying art to EVERY SINGLE GAME MANUALLY. The game also stutters CONSTANTLY when moving. All objects in the room judder when you are moving around and this is not affected at all by changing or limiting framerate. This product is NOT fit for public consumption as it stands.

I spent a good hour and a half just trying to sort my games. the search feature only shows like 20-50 games at a time. so while i was trying to put my games in that order i found that it was very difficult to do so with the limited showing of titles. the box art didn't show up and while i did see other reviewers mention ways to put the art on there it's not clear from the get go. that being said the search feature was only half working too. some games you could search and others you couldn't. and i found out that those games can actually appear inside the box as is without the search feature which was inconvenient since i found out after i spent time to put my 250+ on shelves and then found games that would fit somewhere in the middle of my alphabet. the catalog was confusing as well as it didn't do much to inform me what was in each without opening them. i also had problems with placing furniture it would seem to always be facing the opposite direct you want it to be facing. (Devs if you read this add an arrow or line in the preplace shape in the front to make it more clear) the furniture also seemed limited but i'd expect to be expanded in the future, so i won't say too much about that atm. when i broke a wall i didn't mean to break i could not find a clear way to undo the chunk removal. Normally i wouldn't write a review, but i see the potential of this "game". so with respect please try to fix these things. the limited furniture is one thing but always putting it in the wrong direction got old fast especially with the shelves.

In its current state, this game is alright at best. However, some things could improve it: - More clarification about which games have unlockable items. - Bringing back items such as the lava lamp for everyone, without the fear of missing out (I unfortunately was not able to get the lava lamp). - Custom game support being less of a hassle, as I have not been able to get BOXROOM to run any flatpak games. - Different sizes for game boxes, as some games (such as retro games) have different "aspect ratios" compared to Steam box art. Coloured spines, as well as icons for the games on the spines, could also work. - Making it easier to select items through the catalogue with controls on the Steam Deck. - Customization of what is inside game boxes, such as cartridges or CDs rather than just having floppy discs. - Adjustable ceilings, sloped walls (such as walls at 45-degree angles, walls that are 1/2 or 1/3rd the size of a tile, or curved walls), and more things like that. - Fixing the issue of having soundtracks not playing the next track, and you manually have to click on the music player to play the next song. - Possible music visualizers on displays such as TVs or PCs. - Taking discs out of the game boxes and putting them into things such as PCs or consoles in-game. - The ability to paint windows, doors, and ceilings. I do not know if they are customizable already, and I don't know about it. - Having the ability to add custom art in CDs such as the interior, the CD itself, or the back (I do not know if this is already possible). I can't think of anything else. These are just suggestions.

I will be enjoying sortnig through all my games for a while! It's weirdly zen to go through a 20 year old steam library while givng all my favourite games a nice space on my shelf!
