About

Protect yourself as long as you must in Box of Broken Nails - a surreal horror experience.
Use your hammer and nails to board up an unknown door with something breaking out. Find resources around your house and nail down planks in time. Don't let it open. No matter what.

There is only this one note, it reads:
"Since I started living here alone, the nights felt endless. I barely remember if my halls have been this way before. Lately I hear the sounds of my work from behind the walls. The plates are shattering over and over again. I’m just making things up again, am I not? There was never anything wrong with...
And even if, it changes nothing — what matters is that I simply must continue and make, make…
...Make it go away."
No text notes, no audio logs. The story unfolds through the gameplay itself and what it evokes in you.
A stressful game loop that changes over time.
An unexpected turn of events.
Only one outcome.
Box of Broken Nails contains flashing lights, strong camera shaking, and intentional visual distortion effects. Please use caution if you are affected by flashing or rapidly moving visuals.

Good atmosphere and concept
Box of Broken Nails is a phenomenal game that does a amazing job at pulling you in and keeping you captivated. I originally thought that the ending you get was the only one and that was it but then i watched Power Paks video about this game and wondered how it could possibly be over an hour long. Little did i know this game has so much more in store if you explore more and obsess over. I frankly did not and never would have discovered half the content if not for that video. Nevertheless, this is an amazing game with a lot of care and love put into it.
Box of Broken Nails is a true inspiration in game design. It gives me real The Beginner's Guide vibes. No matter your taste, I'd recommend trying this game just to have the surreal experience - there is nothing more thought provoking with deep ambiguous meaning. It speaks to you without actually saying anything. There is more than meets the eye...
A game of panic, perceived danger, and the proud catalyst of a 2-hour Power Pak video! No idea if there is more, but what you get is more than worth it.
This is a difficult game to review well. Short and effective. It does a very good job of letting you stress yourself out, rather than imposing itself on you. Also, for fans of environment horror, e.g. liminal spaces. You'll get why. In my view, this is a game about growing afraid of people, or depression, or agoraphobia, or recovery, or false recovery, or all or none of the above. What can be taken from it may well say more about the player than the game. Good for those looking for unique experiences.
fun little game. A little confusing at the beginning, but became very fun and I had a few scares.
I started off thinking it was generic horror shovelware but honestly this is a really cool short game
