Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.86/day in the week to Jul 30 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

My bucket list is to beat this game with everyone playing Claptrap

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 11: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Tbh, this entry barely scrapes the thumbs up from me; it took three separate attempts over the many years I've owned it to actually see it through. And there's a few reasons for that: -The 'Ozzyfication' of the moon is pretty off-putting and, while it does calm down after a few hours, it is very dense for the first few hours. While I get there may have been some civic pride at play it steamrolls well past cringe into kind of boring and tasteless stereotyping; like asking an Irishman where he keeps his leprechaun territory. -On beating it you'll realise the game is actually pretty short, its just insanely padded in sections like Triton Flats and Hyperion Hall; It will comfortably dump 15 or so sidequests on you in these areas that are largely unrewarding, both intrinsically and extrinsically. -These are not necessarily the most exciting vault hunters out there. Obviously a very subjective take there, but I think basegame Claptrap and dlc Jack clone show a kind of desperation to liven up the roster. Now, tbf, having beaten it, I do like this game more than before. But the past context was basically 'this is worst of the three games that have released' whereas now, because of the series' decline, it has won middle of the pack status by default. Personally, I grew to like the reduced gravity and I wish they'd kept lasers in the franchise. I'm also appreciative of more Jack content. But, having finally knocked it off the 'log it seems unlikely I'd ever return to it over OG or 2.
a franquia é top, mas o escalonamento de dificuldade é uma bosta
No balance at all, one second the player would be dead, one shot your shield would be broken. So mean of the developers that even a purple gun would be in your dream, blue would be happiness. And no convineont way to kill the boss. Certainly no playing experience in my view. And too many time wasted to find the way, hiding the target so well that some quest had to be abandoned, could not find the way at all.
a lot going for it. it has probably the best vault hunters in borderlands, it introduced some of the movement mechanics that would be introduced in 3 and 4, and it has one of the best DLCs in borderlands. absolutely pick this one up if it's on sale or in a bundle. full-price is too much for how old the game is, and for how relatively little content there is in it compared to bl2. oh, and if you're playing on linux/steam deck, switch to proton. the native build "works" but it's supremely out of date.

There are sprint issues while using the vehicle, other than that everything is good.
Only got this game for Claptrap. Forever will be my favorite BL installment.
Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is set between Borderlands and Borderlands 2, highlighting Handsome Jack's rise to power. It was also co-developed by the now defunct 2K Australia, so it features a raft of Australian references and many Australian accents. It's quite charming and personally piques my interest whenever a video game involves something from Down Under. So, to an extent it's more of the same you'd come to expect from a Borderlands game, but to me that is a good thing. As annoying as it is to navigate, the low-gravity aspect is interesting, and the need to seek out Oxygen (O2) for the majority of the story is at least different to other entries in the series. Co-op gameplay is solid, the story is great, and the humour is as good as ever. I feel like this title goes somewhat under the radar compared to all other games in the series. That's a pity, because it's well worth playing and I'll certainly have it on rotation for the foreseeable future.
