Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.14/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A good game! The first Borderlands is the title that kicked off the more famous franchise; while I would argue the first title is not the strongest entry, I still think is a fun 2009 game. The open world FPS can be played both in co-op and singleplayer, with the former mode being of course the most enjoyable. The looter shooter works well, with various weapons to make every experience feel different. The main plot is alright, I would say the side content is more entertaining. The first Borderlands has aged a bit, but I stil have found memories!
Genuinley better than B2

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Lonely, tedious, not as funny or exciting as it thinks it is. Oh, but enough about me. The story is paper-thin and the characters are amoral and unsympathetic for the most part, which makes the atmospheric qualities hard for me to jam with. TBF I tapped out somewhere during the Knoxx DLC thinking I'd get back to it soon, but instead realizing I was pretty bored and only managed to get as far as I did by being stubborn, overcoming a total lack of FPS aim skill and getting dusted by co-op teammates (not bitter or anything :cgrazz:). The weapon variety isn’t as interesting as it may seem on paper, and the repetition and the lack of environmental variety and truly colorful characters makes many a reminiscence of this game a Rorschach-y blur filled in with later details. The half-hearted non-photorealistic rendering can enhance the experience when it’s really allowed to, but it more often doesn’t. A standout in its own day, it’s had its visual identity somewhat robbed by others whether consciously (in particular, MOBA-like hero shooters that have a pressing need for readable outlines); the actual technique isn’t difficult or unique, but does require a conscious decision about art direction to really look good, so I’ll give credit that they leaned into it for cutscenes and promotional images, but you can barely even tell it’s there in the screenshots. So, I did not move on to B2 and I have only reluctantly accepted B3 as part of my collection (in light of behind-the-scenes shenanigans). But in spite of it all, I did not resent CL4P-TP appearances outside the series such as Poker Night 2. He truly is the emblem of the series, the tragic class clown who perhaps deserves your pity but gets on your nerves anyway.
Borderlands 1 is the most unique borderlands game in the franchise. Game has a lot of scrapped ideas that other games don't have like certain weapon types, more simple skill tree and so on. While for some it might be a minus, the game is extremely fun to grind in and have fun in. Definitely a must have
Aside from Borderlands 3, this is arguably the best Borderlands game. Not my opinion, just seems to be the common opinion floating around the internet. Shooting, looting, guns, grenades, and humour galore! Plus Skeeter. Skeeter's great.
Was rather hard in the start, but once you get ur gear and blah blah blah, its just another lovely blood show<3
