Borderlands 4

This has to be the worst optimized game in existence. If I bought something this unoptimized 10 years ago I would've thought it was mining bitcoin in the background.

I am glad they did that free weekend because I stayed away from this due to the price and the bad reviews. I loved 2 and the Pre-Sequel, and only liked 3, but this one seems like a good sequel from what I've played. Graphically, it looks great and runs really well now. Granted, I have a better computer than the average gamer, but on Ultra with DLSS Quality, I had a solid 80-100 FPS with very little stuttering, even in the open-world segments. With frame generation, it was almost butter smooth at 150+ FPS, so they definitely fixed some the performance issues. Still, this game is too premium for my wallet Randy, so I am going to wait for a good sale or bundle on the Super Deluxe Edition (just like I did for 3). But I know I will buy it eventually now.

Gearbox are actual geniuses. They made the shader compilation take 2 hours, so you can't refund the game.

The writing quality we've endured since Borderlands 3 is the norm now.
