Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts

My friend told me to buy it since its on sale and i though "Borderlands is a great series maybe the newest one would also be really good" so i bought the pandoras box and this game and i started with this first, if i was a quitter and just saw absolutely horrible this game runs, crashes left and right even at the lowest settings i don't know if there loading the map or trying to install and crypto miner on my pc, and on top of that this game is so boring , there is only ONE mission i actually enjoyed everything else just feels like filler which yes maybe there was a couple missions i rushed through because i hate playing but they are time wasters ,A majority of this game was i would've definitely refunded this game in a heartbeat but you know what i didn't , I have played for hours and i find my own ways to have fun which is to get the achievements BUT i learn this game DOES NOT EVEN HAVE ALL THE ACHIEVEMENTS OUTS, Now there isn't any point to even play this game, thankfully i just bought this dumpster fire of a game and not the dlc because the reviews on those are even worse, 2k has dropped the ball and should just focus on their true passion, Sports games, which are equally bad and are just cash grabs, Please if you actually even consider playing this game just go buy borderlands 2 or better yet the pandoras box when it is on sale because this game is a big let down ,Save your money.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 22: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Of the 12 markets with a position on both sides, 5 climbed and 3 fell. The same sale, the same day, opposite directions — which is why nothing here is averaged into a single arrow, and why one sale is not a trend.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 47/day in the week to Sep 11 → 340.86/day in the week after.
One market had a chart position on both sides of this cut. One sale in one country is an anecdote — read it next to the store-wide figures below.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 41.86/day in the week to Jul 31 → 47.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Oh boy, Borderlands 4. Definitely one of those "in context" review. I am going to put a positive recommendation mainly because right now it seat at "mixed" and considering what the value per euro it's kind of obscene. I got it for half of its (hefty) public price and yes, yes, it is a bland addictive fast food of a meal, but it's really a lot of big macs for the money. Even if you play just the campaign with most of the vanilla side quest that's 100h. Even full price that's 80c per hour wich few cool indie game compete with. It really is *not* a steal, you can see the production value, this game clearly took a lot of work. Is it a good borderlands though? Depends I guess. Mechanically it's probably the best game although differences with the 3rd... didn't strike me that much? Of course it's all over the place and there is a huge variety in guns that's kind of something until you start legendary hunting and get weird OP guns that put everything else the game has to offer in the dust, often trivializing the game. Maybe it's because I am a veteran who knows that you die way more in this game from exploding barrels and your own grenades than anything else but the game was really too easy for me until I attempted to solo the end game content which ended up not being possible, big disappointment. The mobility is a big improvement in fight though, IMO it's done pretty well. Vehicles are a bit better to use etc. It has the best headshot noise in any game, it's pornographic, so satisfying. Lack of midgets to headshot though (IYKYK) but interesting opposition - the studio is really good at making a set of enemies with unique animations and game mechanics. Clearly a strong point. The writing? Well it's probably on par or better than Borderland 1. I never smiled but I was never irked. Some characters have at least some lasting powers. The bad guy is bland AF. It's just your inoffensive story for a game that had amazing writing in one of their game (Borderlands 2) by accident. One thing it does better than any other game though is your own character's writing, at least Rafa. It has to be the first time I actually acknowledged and liked my character in a Borderlands game. Which is a huge feat, it has to be said. The problem is that the writing in the 3 was so bad we didn't notice another glaring it had that aslo cripples Borderlands 4 because no one yelled about it to Gear box back then. The disappearance of any atmosphere. Of any mood. Some say it's Jasper Kid being gone but I don't think it's that or only that. At some points the soundtrack can even run its old gimmicks pretty well. The real issue started when we left Pandora. IMO one of they key common quality of all good open world FPS is that they induce melancholy somewhere past the 20h mark. STALKER, Fallout... not Farcry :P You go in a state where you connect to the game space in a deep way, navigating from this feeling of melancholy induced by the world, the mood to the dopamine of killing and looting. Borderlands 1 and 2 had it because Pandora is a perfect stage for that. It's desperate, derelict place. I remember in the first one in the DLC, there was a hub at some kind of "end of the world" which was just breath taking. Borderlands 2 introduced greenery but it still worked because it was this one obscene contrast with the rest of the world. Then Borderlands 3 went "all the landscape", which immediately meant "none of them". Nothing meant anything. In Borderlands 4 the act 1 (which will last you 30h if you do side quests) is some wow like bland greenery. It has zero mood. It's really a sad thing. The rest of the map is way better but even if it at times look stunning, it never gets melancholic. It feels just like a big theme park. I have some love for B1 and B2, but this one leaves me no memory. It's compelling to play, it works, but it's not a gaming moment I guess. Still, it's an honest game, that does some things very well and fail on others. Compare to what steam ratings mean for other single player games it should be at least good, bordering on very good IMO. Few, took me a moment to sort my thoughts on that one! Have a good day.
does this game have some stutters? yes is it as bad as other steam reviews suggest it is? no best feeling borderlands game now only if the dlc was the same quality as the bl3 dlcs
For me it took a while to get into it but now I think it's great! There is nothing like Borderlands crazy weapons and combat!
This Borderlands is a dead, rotting husk of a borderlands game. The gunplay and skill trees are fun. A VERY SELECT FEW of the characters are worth caring about, and not a single one of them is new to this game. The devs made it so they would irritate you over and over until you buy the dlc if you're playing without it. If you don't own the dlc, about every minute or so that you're in certain safehouses, you hear the same voice line over and over about starting one of the dlc missions. There are legendaries in the drop pool that you're required to own the dlc to use, but they'll drop even if you don't own it. Because of this, I will NEVER buy the dlc. What a scummy practice. btw, this includes golden chest drops! They also absolutely besmirched red chests. There's a never ending storm of red chests in this game, and they're consistently filled with CRAP. UTTER CRAP. whites, greens, blues. always. Red chests used to be special, now they're nothing. I'm going to finish this game because even buying it for $30 was overpriced, so I may as well get my money out of it. That being said, it's utter trash. Fetch quests galore, almost every quest in the game is "run 300m, pick something up, run another 300m, talk to someone, run another 500m, shoot some stuff, run all the way back to where you started". If you want to play Borderlands, play 2. It's the best one. It's funny, the loot is balanced, and the characters are well-written. I figured things would be bad after the car crash that Borderlands 3 was, but this is so much worse than I thought it could be. A horribly made cash grab by gearbox. WHAT. A. SHAME.
BL3 was better, more detailed. This game was rushed, lots of Bugs. Not worth it.
Compiling shaders for 20 minutes...every...single...launch
Terrible performances / sub-optimized to put it gently compared to other games using UE. And for 35 quids this is not acceptable (even less so for 70). 2K EULA is catastrophic.
Big thumbs down. Game is unplayable. After every patch, the game performance dramatically decreases. At this point, whenever there are enemies around, the game lags, hitches and freezes. The only point of this game is to shoot bad guys and I can't even do that because the Gearbox won't fix the game. Ryzen 9 5900x 3080 ti 32GB RAM Yes I have DDR4, but the game should at least be playable on low settings and it isn't. This is probably an issue Gearbox will never fix.
