14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Reviews
like others have said, refunded because the game is so poorly optimized. 45 fps on low/med graphics. Not worth it even on sale. I don't even think I'd play this even if I was gifted for free. Just unable to enjoy the game.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 20: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 316.29/day in the week to Sep 15 → 102.83/day in the week after.
Of the 12 markets with a position on both sides, 5 climbed and 3 fell. The same sale, the same day, opposite directions — which is why nothing here is averaged into a single arrow, and why one sale is not a trend.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 47/day in the week to Sep 11 → 340.86/day in the week after.
One market had a chart position on both sides of this cut. One sale in one country is an anecdote — read it next to the store-wide figures below.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 41.86/day in the week to Jul 31 → 47.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The game is still not optimized somehow, bugs and crashes aplenty. Dont buy it at all at this point 2K is probably never going to fix it, they'll just focus on more DLC and cosmetics to sell you.
I mean, it was fun from what I played. Ran smoothly, gameplay felt nice, guns were, alright. Few interesting enemies from what I was able to see, but shortly after finishing the intro mission, and able to “traverse” the open world, I couldn’t play for more than 3-5 minutes without it crashing. It crashed at least 6 times in 30 minutes. Sure, my PC isn’t the most beastly, but I can play Cyberpunk 2077 on medium/high graphics and still get 60-80FPS. Would’ve loved to have BL4 to complete and have ALL borderlands games, but f**k man, optimize your game.
Most of the time I have played is just my computer open cause I went to work and let the shaders load, then I came back and loaded shaders. 4070 not doing to well in 1080p rn let me lower every thing and load shaders, fk did I load shaders? I meant to load shaders. Nah this setting isn't load shaders so let me LOAD SHADERS. Wow that's actually not that bad I can kinda see in front of me, other than that I hate it. You know what let me give it another chance, the load shader, so I had to load shader, now that we got that out the way lets load shader, so we can load shader. I beat the first load shader some how, okay that was pretty load shader. You find the dopiest golden load shader and it its magically delicious. </3
I always liked BL. They felt naturally stupid. And still funny and entertaining. Cool way to run over and over and looting better gear while destroying everything, with simple cartoonish graphics. Somehow BL4 lacks everything. I didnt enjoyed, didnt even finished main story. worst bl imo.
Not going to recommend the game until this game get a better optimisation patch. Hopefully the devs will see this review. Borderlands 4 have alot potential, the gameplay is probably a notch over Borderlands 3 to some extend, im not a fan of the open world approach and for two reason. One the game run under Ureal engine 5 as you can tell, making it one of the most hardest game to run. I like to compared it to STALKER 2 another FPS on unreal engine 5, STALKER 2 have better optimisation overall whether its for memory usage to cpu usage. In STALKER I get around 7-8gb of VRAM usage, in Borderlands 4 it just take the 10gb plus a little bit on the shared memory. I have better frame per second on STALKER 2 than Borderlands 4. I use DLAA on STALKER 2 and I manage to have 45-80fps on average at 1440p ultra, 45fps while being in rostok one of the most npc intense place of the game where in the open I have a good 60fps stable. In Borderlands 4 I need to use DLSS in quality mode if I even want to achieve 60fps, but the thing is that the open world aspect seems to take so much ressource that the fps just tank. While in smaller map like the christmas dlc where you are off the main map the fps jump to like 80-90fps... I just wish that they would've just make the game base of multiple smaller map like always. Bottom line, its playable, if you do have a pretty decent PC that isnt too old. Two smaller map means loading screen or what I like to call a name to places, in borderlands 4 its hard to remember names to places when you barely see them, thats maybe a me thing but I like to know where did I stop last time I played making it more memorable, and loading screen help to just take a break and just pause for a minutes off the game. For the rest, perspective to each its own. I cant tell you the game is bad cause of story is forgettable or whatnot, or that the gun play feel amazing or its just another loot shooter. What I can tell is that the game for what it is have alot to it that make it a good game but the performance will make alot of player not willing to even try it on there system. Game fun if you can look past that and you like a good borderlands with a twist and if open world is up your alley well go for it, its another couple of hundreds of hours into yet another borderlands games.
Still has terrible performance. Don't care for the "open world" aspect, feels awkward and tedious.
its just sooo lacking had so much potential, falling short is an understatement. the open world was a mistake, there is no real sense of progression, you're just marking off a checklist of thigs to do
