Very disappointing, The worst of the series, boring modern AAA slop. The story and characters are just plain awful and totally forgettable. If you like modern day slop this game is for you.

The worst Borderlands game out there. Runs like absolute trash. Missions make no sense. Progression is scaled. They took everything from Borderlands and ruined it. What an absolute joke of a game. I have a great computer that is struggling to run this piece of ♥♥♥♥. The game doesn't even look that good to be struggling so much.
I got this for free when I bought a new graphics card and I still want my money back. The performance was abysmal and they released a bunch of 15 GB+ minimum patches that never fixed anything. I kept falling through the world and getting stuck on half-loaded parts of the map, especially on the vehicle. Speaking of half-loaded? 50% of the world consisted of low-poly blobs almost at all times, including the viewmodel of my gun that took at least 5 minutes to load. If I was lucky. Endless loading blue "portal" screens, constantly compiling shaders.. Ugh. I had problems choosing a class as literally none of them seemed interesting nor cool and the one I eventually went with (The Exo-Soldier/Rafa) made me want to introduce myself to a woodchipper. Not to mention how damn cringe the "jokes" are, jesus christ. I might try it again sometime but I definitely will play music in the background and ignore everything else. The game probably works more as just a mindless shooter than any real attempt at a good story with interesting characters which it definitely is not. I could forgive the performance issues at launch if the actual game was any good but nope. Maybe Handsome Jack was right all along.
Прикольная игра с неприкольной оптимизацией. Как для любителя того же второго риск оф рейна игра играется прекрасно. Выкручиваем громкость реплик в ноль, ставим на фон музыку и идем отстреливать толпы, гангейм у игры прекрасный, и ощущения от мувмента и стрельбы тоже, очень прикольные цветастые пушки. Я не буду ныть что сюжет там плохой или еще что, оно мне не надо, если надо сюжет, хз, в киберпанк поиграйте, я заранее знал что иду сюда чисто пострелять, и игра справилась со всем на все 100%. Но... Лаги и статтеры, отсутствие нормального стабильного фпс при игре на абсолютно минимальных настройках с длсс на качество? В 720р? Вы серьезно? На компьютере, который способен потянуть тот же киберпанк на ультрах в нативном 1080р? Если с длсс, так вообще лучи включить можно. Графика игры объективно даже и близко не сопоставима, с тем как она нагружает комп. Поэтому негативный отзыв. Я отдал за это две с половиной тысячи. Да, я обновлю комп, чтобы он потянул это, да, я пройду игру и зачищу всю карту, потому что сама то игра мне очень понравилась. Но положительный отзыв вы не заслужили. Если будет нормальная, или хотя бы сносная оптимизация, я поменяю свое мнение. А пока что это кусок 5 анрила, а не игра.
Just boring and unoptimized trash.
bought this as me and my friend had finished borderlands 3 not too long before. we went in this knowing it wasnt going to be the best experience but we still wanted to give it a shot. my pc is decent at most, can run anything at 1080p but this game is so unoptimised its crazy. not to mention some god awful characters like zalda or whatever the ♥♥♥♥♥ was called. do not buy this hunk of ♥♥♥♥. you will be severely disappointed.
its just sooo lacking had so much potential, falling short is an understatement. the open world was a mistake, there is no real sense of progression, you're just marking off a checklist of thigs to do
