This is definitely a qualified recommendation, but I did enjoy playing it, so it gets a thumbs up. Borderlands 4 is not worth the full asking price - wait for a sale. The various DLC options are also not worth full asking price - if you want the extra content, get a higher tier version while the game is steeply discounted. The story peaked with 2, flopped around in 3, and maybe starts stumbling in a slightly better direction with 4. There's definitely no equivalent to the introduction (or surprising depth) of Tiny Tina, but it has a few moments here and there. If you like playing Borderlands, you'll most likely like this entry. If you're looking to repeat the experience that was Borderlands 2... go play Borderlands 2 again.
