Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Kinda wild how they don't listen to community feedback, Anyway nerf Rafa again.
Every time I play the game and launch I get a fatal error since the patch I literally tried everything and nothing seems to work! I literally do not know what to do.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 23: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 316.29/day in the week to Sep 15 → 99.29/day in the week after.
Of the 12 markets with a position on both sides, 5 climbed and 3 fell. The same sale, the same day, opposite directions — which is why nothing here is averaged into a single arrow, and why one sale is not a trend.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 47/day in the week to Sep 11 → 340.86/day in the week after.
One market had a chart position on both sides of this cut. One sale in one country is an anecdote — read it next to the store-wide figures below.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 41.86/day in the week to Jul 31 → 47.29/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 17 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,502 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I went into this game with a clean slate not watching the trailers or anything of the matter and oh boy I wish I did. The story is meh I suppose. The intro sequence didnt intice me or made me captivated to care. I chose RAFA since he seems to be one of the best vault hunters and honestly I dont like him. His knife blades are not for me, there a cool gimmick that I think would be fun if paired with more movent based abilities. The open world is bland and lack character. A smaller hand crafted world with a darker setting would work a lot better with the half assed humor its going for. The sidequest felt boring and a tad bit out of place in a borderlands game. The guns are all the same. You have about 5 gun compagnies that offer a different way of shooting. You basically just choose a compagny that you like and stick with it. The diffrent guns are just the same guns with varied stats and perks. I know I sound very negative about the game and if you think so I wouldnt blame you. The game itself still has a solid base and hopefully gearbox takes the feedback from the players and incorparates it into the next game. Knowing them tho I doubt it tho. I do think a borderlands MMO would be a great next step in the looter shooter genre. 5/10
After playing for 178 hours I think I can write some thoughts about the game. Generally it's very fun to play and gameplay-wise I like it. Movement is great, guns are good and it's nice to see some QoL features added like Big Encore Machines and saving collectibles from other save files. But there are a few moments that I think were poorly implemented I have a laptop below minimum requirements and it runs the game on the very minimum FHD settings, which is surprisingly nice. I've played it on a high end PC and it doesn't look that good even on badass settings at 4K resolution. I would say it's like a Borderlands 3 with better lighting. All the UE5 nanites and stuff isn't required for this game. People like the Borderlands games for gameplay and/or story. And yeah... story. We all remember that abomination of BL3 main story line and I would say they did better in this one, but still it's not good. Most of the story is lackluster. It's like: to kill the big guy you need to kill 3 other, then rekill one of them and here you are at the top of the tower. The ending is a bit weird because you just get some useless thing and then one character says "I think we got what we came for". The End. At least they didn't make the villain that obnoxious, but he appears for a few dialogues and then he's like: "Oh, you're here... let's fight". He can control people with bolts, but it seems like he's not in the mood for it) Also the world. I don't like the idea of the open world. It feels empty and useless. All locations look almost the same. The fauna consists of literally 4 animals: kratches (like rakks), manglers (like skaggs, but they are cats), creeps (like ratches or varkids) and wildhorns, which are the only one not copy-pasted from previous games. Mobs also include rippers (like bandits) and the order (like hyperion in bl2 with a few new enemies). You will see order and ripper mobs throughout the whole game, including all bounty packs. Most of the bosses are actually chunkier versions of normal mobs and are very boring. Vehicles are generic, but not bad. They just look different, but feel absolutely the same. I think implementing vehicles from BL3 with summoning them from any place would be a better idea. The last thing I want to complain about is legendaries and pearls. I love that we finally get pearls after all these years, but the first pearl I got was a world drop at level 11... And it's not my luck it's just how it is in this game. I've got like 50 world drop pearls in one playthrough. Legendaries are also common here. Not like in BL3, but still common. I would like to decrease the world drop chance of legendaries and pearls to make it feel more special. Also dedicated drop chances are broken. As far as I know the chance of dropping a dedicated legendary is 23% on UVH 7 and the chance for a dedicated pearl is 0.95%. Maybe I'm bad at math, but getting a pearl every 5-8 kills is not 0.95% (it's from Origo). Also some dedicated legendaries drop more often than others. I farmed Origo a lot and I noticed that Watts 4 Dinner drops are less common than Bottled Lightning or Kaoson. Class mod drops are also weird, because the chance of dropping a class mod not for your character on UVH 7 is 1,435% * 4 = 5,74% and for your character is 17,25%, but you get almost the same amount of both!!! One time I got three legendaries from a boss and all of them were world drops! That's it! The problems that I described are not huge problems. I still think this is a great game and I want people to remember it as such. It is possible for Borderlands 4 to be even a greater game in the future, but looking at the current set of DLC's it is hard to see that future
If you're not on reddit 24/7 you will enjoy the game, classic borderlands 2 humor with b3 gameplay and wonderlands builds. The open world can be hit or miss tho. People just have a hate boner for anything that isn't borderlands 2 (the only thing that stands the test of time is handsome jack, everything else falls short compared to the new games)
It runs rought but its fun.
didnt enjoy it, way too expensive, game has no soul
Okay. this game is amazing, sure its not the same as all other borderlands games.... But the only thing or issue i have to point out is that their game has TO many bugs. Every time i try to configure the settings then try to play the game no matter what i do it bugs. they haven't done anything to help with the bugs. other than that its an amazing game. but i just cant even run it ON A GOOD COMPUTER. mines pretty decent for an average gamer. whos played all their games, i never have trouble with any borderlands games. BUT NOW borderlands 4 is so buggy not even an actual gaming computer can even play this game. I get now why the reviews are so bad and negative. All i have to say is that buy this at your own risk. Only top notch CONSOLES can play this game, not even good computers can play this game well. they haven't tried to change the optimization at all. And its horrible. I barely have 10 frames when i look in a certain direction with certain amount of enemies. i would highly stay waiting until they actually don't do a poor job next time of fixing their buggy game. this is terrible except for the games actual game. It's unplayable. AND TO TOP IT OFF IVE BEEN A FAN OF THIS GAME FOR YEARS. And now they are starting to become like every other big gaming company and only worrying about how much money they gain from this trilogy. They don't care about the lower end or higher end. they just want a cash grab for a game that they knew most players that buy it wouldn't be able to play it. AND look at me now. i thought with a good gaming PC i thought i wouldn't have an issue. i was highly mistaken. Gearbox, borderlands.... You have seriously outdone yourself this time. I'm so discouraged in this franchise now. please help PEOPLE who play your game have better optimization modes. or at least care about the problems your fans are having. we are not happy as the community.
I bought the game. I then realised the other half of the game is locked behind DLC. Borderlands 4 is the epitome of publisher greed.
somehow boderlands 3 was better
