Played it a while ago, then uninstalled. Just played again to remember why I stopped... I ran out of stuff to do aside from grinding for mats to upgrade gear. Less than 2 weeks and all main and side quests are done.
Here is a structured summary and review outline based on your stream covering ***Blue Protocol: Star Resonance***: ### **Review Title / Theme Ideas** * **Blue Protocol: Star Resonance** – A Cute Anime Grind Held Back by Endless Dialogue and a Thin Player Base? * First Impressions: Is *Blue Protocol: Star Resonance* Worth Your Time? --- ### **1. Character Creation & Customization (The High Point)** * **The Good:** The character creator is a standout feature. It’s robust, offers deep customization (including body type adjustments), and lets you create great-looking anime-style characters with options like ears, tails, and easy preset importing/randomizing. * **Flexibility:** You can change your appearance later, which is a big plus for vanity lovers. ### **2. Progression, Boosts, & Account Systems** * **Instant Level 60 Boost:** The game gives you a free instant level 60 boost pack right at the start. Since the game has level/content guardrails and your skills start at level 1 anyway, it’s best to use it early to skip the grind, boost survivability, and make combat smoother. * **Character Isolation:** Accounts don't function traditionally—each character is essentially in their own separate world. Money, items, and purchased goods are not easily shared or banked across characters. * **Currency & Skills:** In-game currency (like Luna/Luma) is earned through quests, mobs, and chests, and is used to level up skills. However, you have to choose upgrades carefully rather than just dumping resources into everything with a notification badge. ### **3. Gameplay, Combat, & The Story Wall** * **The Grind/Story Loop:** The core game revolves heavily around a massive, long-winded story mode. You can spend hours just running back and forth doing quests before ever really getting loose in the open world. * **The Dialogue Issue:** There is an overwhelming amount of reading. While some parts are voice-acted, a large portion is text-only, which can quickly become tedious and lead to players spamming the skip button just to play the actual game. * **QoL Features:** Navigation and movement are well-handled once unlocked, featuring automated pathfinding/teleportation that works great—especially if playing on desktop or mobile devices. * **Multiplayer & Social:** Features like built-in local area voice chat in dungeons add an interesting layer to grouping up, alongside fun emotes and actions. ### **4. Economy & Population Concerns** * **Marketplace:** The trading center feels sparse. Listings are extremely low (e.g., only a couple of items or vegetables for sale, and zero/minimal high-end appearance items, mounts, or gear available), suggesting a thin player-driven economy. * **Player Population:** The open world feels largely empty—you'll only run into a handful of players—raising questions about the long-term health and ongoing developer support for the game. ### **5. Final Verdict / Summary Takeaway** * **Potential:** The game has a lot of roleplaying potential and strong stylistic charm. * **Drawbacks:** Plagued by excessive unvoiced dialogue, isolated character economies, and a worryingly quiet player base. * **Recommendation:** Worth a quick look if you love character creators and anime MMOs, but temper your expectations regarding community activity and the heavy story barrier to entry. --- Let me know if you want to tweak any of these points, shift the tone, or expand on a specific section for your written review! [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vb3U1DujeEA](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vb3U1DujeEA) At its core, I genuinely like Blue Protocol: Star Resonance. It captures a fun anime charm with an incredible character creator and plenty of underlying potential, which makes it all the more disappointing that it isn't doing better right now. The biggest hurdle right now is the population—or lack thereof. Because the world feels so quiet, you end up locked out of a lot of activities and games simply because they require more than one person to queue up or complete. It creates a frustrating bottleneck where the multiplayer side of the MMO struggles to function. While things might be better on the overseas servers with healthier population numbers, the current state makes you wish the developer support and player turnout were stronger so the game could truly shine.

les nouveaux serveurs euro ont rendu le gameplay beaucoup plus fluide par rapport à la sortie. Par contre on est très vite perdu et on croule sous les quêtes quand on reprend pas très friendly mais si on force un peu on a un mmio lite leger et fun
I liked it, I've been looking for a multiplayer type game where i have a class, skill tree and progression stuff, plus it looks great I love how much you can customize your characters, plus you don't have to pay to win so that's good too
