Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 22 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
⚠️ Please Note:
Blue Maiden is a slow-paced walking simulator that focuses on atmosphere, exploration, and puzzle-solving. It is not an action-heavy horror game and does not feature combat or fast-paced gameplay. If you're looking for adrenaline-fueled horror, this may not be the experience for you.
Blue Maiden is a Japanese first-person psychological horror game where the terror creeps in slowly and subtly. As Tachi Tachibana, a recent university graduate, you return to your childhood neighborhood to help with the family business—only to find the streets eerily empty and the air thick with dread.
You’ve been haunted by the same nightmare over and over: a mysterious girl standing silently beneath a cherry tree. But when the dreams start blending into your waking life, you realize that something is terribly wrong. Step into the heart of a decaying town and uncover the truth behind the legend of the Blue Maiden.
Atmospheric Exploration:
Take your time to explore eerie, traditional Japanese locations brought to life with atmospheric visuals and immersive sound design.
Psychological Horror:
The game builds dread through story and setting, featuring light jumpscares and disturbing imagery designed to unnerve rather than shock.
Environmental Storytelling:
Search for clues, solve environmental puzzles, and piece together the mystery of the Blue Maiden through subtle narrative details.
Multiple Endings:
A complete playthrough takes about 1 hour, with roughly 30 minutes of extra content available for players who seek out all 3 endings.
Authentic Japanese Setting:
Inspired by classic Japanese horror, Blue Maiden blends folklore, melancholy, and mystery into a uniquely haunting experience.
Step quietly. Look closely. Not everything wants to be found.

great j-horror vibes, a bit on the short side...some jumpscares got me early on, though after chapter 3-ish it starts to feel more like “all bark, no bite”. the visuals are straight-up mesmerizing, like wandering through a dream that’s just a little off
The game is very bad and boring.
Not a bad little horror flavored walking sim, especially for it's price. Little indie projects like these are what make Steam a special place, and this definitely adds to that. It's a bit rough around the edges compared to other indie horror experiences around the same price point, but even so, it's an interesting little ride. Notice how I keep using the word "little"? That's because it's short, just in case that wasn't obvious enough. There's some cheap jump scares in here that got a little laugh out of me, but nothing absolutely horrified me. There were some rooms that I went into that made me say "wow, that's actually pretty creepy" which is really what this game is. It won't scare you down to the core of your spirit like Silent Hill 2 will, but it will provoke a bit of thought. The inclusion of anime girl posters plastered on the walls might throw you off a bit though, haha.

lowkey a really nice niche little horror game, i like the concept of the 3 different endings and the gameplay is actually entertaining, the story is good and overall a good play, only thing i would say is implement a running function so you can get around places quicker but other than that its actually pretty good, also got really cute profile decorations you can buy too :)
Pretty short indie horror game. I enjoyed it
