they replaced spark system with greedy pity system. GGs Blue Archive had a good run until now
改牛魔的抽卡?
This is what happens when you hire someone from ea. They intentionally kill the game for profit.

It was once a great game and with the recent changes to the gacha system, I absolutely do not recommend this game. It's just a much worser Hoyo gacha system
Getting new characters is not viable anymore. You must spend money to find a decent amount of enjoyment. no pity with abysmal character odds. Whoever believed the less than one percent odds on most things is vile.
NEXON ruined the game with the new gacha system. When an Eos comes NEXON is to blame... Wouldn't be the first time they killed a gacha game too.
I'll come back if they reverse the changes, otherwise, my journey with BA ends in a sour note.
this game was perfect as it is but i guess things come to an end eventually
I've played BA ever since Global was released, which was like 2021 I believe? (Jesus that made me feel old) It was during the time when I was being introduced to Gacha games, Genshin Impact being the first game I played. It boring for me really quick and I ended up uninstalling it after a few weeks of playing. It wasn't till much later when I saw an ad for the game, idk what gravitate me to the game, but regardless I downloaded it and played it. For the first couple of months, I kinda was a bit struggling to see the enjoyment of the game and, like Genshin Impact, I just stopped playing it. But unlike Genshin Impact, I didn't uninstall it, which was odd since I would have saved a lot of storage space if I did uninstall, but I just didn't. Time went on and then in 2023, I was talking to a friend of mine who plays a lot of Gacha games and BA came out in that conversation. At the time, I was actually in BA's reddit, looking through fan art and following ba Artist in twitter. And he told me to at least play the game to at least get the awards from past events. I decided to heed his advice and play the game again, it was the best decision. After coming back to the game, I find myself really enjoying it, so much that in the first week alone, I finished volume 1 to 3 (if I remember the volume structure at the time correctly) and still continue playing almost today. I really really love this game... But the devs have to ruin it. With the announcement of the new Gacha system, and the fooking disaster of PR I've seen since the EA Battlefield V. I just can't really recommend/play the game anymore. It genuinely sucks being a player since Global release (tbh I don't know if I count since I did stop playing and didn't play the game till 2023) but it hurts seeing this is were the game is at right now. They have something, but now they screw everything up. I know it's a business in the end, but there's like better ways to implement this and even better ways to handle pr than what I saw. Anyways, just don't download or play the game, delete your account if you want to, even don't buy the game's merchandise or anything that can give them money, hitting them in the finance department. For me, I'll probably stop playing the game but not uninstalling it, I'm still holding out some hope for changes to happen, as I feel like BA's biggest strength is its fanbase. Basically it lives because of its fans and might die because it lost its fans. I mean, look at the stuff the community did, from donating a lot of blood to even dealing with the Korean government corruption (if you're new, yes that's real) it really does show how much fans loves the game.... Welp that's my rant, I don't know if this read by it's entirety but if you did, thanks and I do apologize if there's any grammatical errors, misspellings, or missing words. That tends to happen a lot that I'm a bit convinced that I might be dyslexic. Anyways, have good morning, day, or evening and play some other Gacha game till BA change their Gacha system. If not, don't buy their ♥♥♥♥, don't give them your money till changes are made.
Don't get me wrong, i absolutely love this game, and have played since 2024 but with the recent changes to the gacha system on jp server, i feel like it has lost its charm with the removal of the unique sparking system that made it different from other gacha games. If you are a player that wants to experience a gacha game with really well written characters and an amazing story, while not minding the future gacha changes, I'd definitely recommend this. However i'd still give a negative review as part of review bombing.
