For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.

About

Weird West legends meet eldritch horror in BLOOD WEST, an immersive stealth FPS. Become the Undead Gunslinger, doomed to roam the barren lands until he finds the means to purge their curse and free his soul. No, this isn’t your typical Wild West desperado redemption arc. This is a damnation arc.
The Canyons, the Swamp, and the Mountains. Each swarming with abominable monsters and unholy demons, these are open-ended worlds for you to explore freely at your own pace. It will take the player over 20 hours on average to complete all three scenarios, and over 35 if they want to see everything the barren lands have to offer.
Blood West is a stealth FPS inspired by the genre classics such as the Thief series (whose fans will be happy to hear the voice of Stephen Russell, the actor voicing the master-thief Garrett, returning here as the protagonist), S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games, or - from the contemporary catalog - Hunt: Showdown. The gameplay rewards the careful approach: scouting the area, stalking your enemies, and striking from the shadows. Can you figure out a way to clear a fort full of ghouls and monsters without raising an alarm?
The Barren Lands present the player with a nightmarish, twisted vision of the Wild West legends. The curse that has befallen the realm has corrupted every living thing, defiled the land itself, while summoning restless spirits and dark entities. In this mixture of gunslinger pulp and Lovecraftian horror, dark occult magick presents just as much of a threat as sudden lead poisoning.
In Blood West you will meet many colorful, yet strangely twisted, fully-voiced NPCs. Just as much prisoners of the Barren Lands as you are, they will sometimes share their unusual stories and send you on various missions. Play nice and they might reward you or become your allies. Cross them and risk their wrath.
The game won’t hold your hand. You’ll have to explore the land for yourself (buying a map from a vendor might prove useful!), and figure out your own way to approach quests. As you poke around the three expansive maps, keep an eye out for hidden places and secret stashes. There’s gold in the mountains! Fair warning - it’s probably cursed.
If sneaking around isn’t exactly your thing, or you feel that you have a power advantage over your enemies, you can always take the head-on approach and meet your enemies guns blazing. Blood West comes from the creators of the fan-favorite boomer shooter POSTAL: Brain Damaged, so much gratuitous fantasy violence and pixelated blood splatter is to be expected!
One man’s hell might be another hoarder’s paradise! From simple one-use items like bandages, through medical tinctures, explosives and incendiaries, straight to arcane artifacts that - once slotted - can change the way you play the game, the Barren Lands are just filled with STUFF. There are tons of useful items to discover, and there’s a special player’s stash crate for all those super-rare potions that you’ll hoard and never use.
A gunslinger without a gun would be just a regular slinger. Where’s the fun in that? Blood West makes sure you’ll have plenty of weapons to choose from. Revolvers, rifles, shotguns, carabines - a great variety of firearms, from standard army-issue to those infused with powerful magic, or straight-up possessed. And if you prefer not to cause a ruckus, there’s a wide selection of hand-to-hand combat weapons and archery weapons to pick your favorites from.
The RPG-like perk-based progression system in Blood West will allow you to highly customize the gameplay experience to your liking. Become a stealthy hunter, a revolver-fanning gunman or a relentless berserker. You will gain experience and progress through the skill tree, while discovering new artifacts in each of the scenarios that will bestow on you additional abilities. Combining skills and load-out creates more possible playstyles than you’d normally be able to explore in one playthrough.

Extremely good game. Like an indie cowboy stalker. Also scratched my itch for a single player Hunt Showdown. If you want a game in a similar vibe (but MUCH simpler and smaller), try witch hunt
The game is OK, but ultimately nothing worth experiencing. However, a thumbs down is heavily warranted now, because it has come to my attention that in the news posts regarding the game, developer uses a casual & informal language, that is more in line with modern internet memes and the "Discord" program, which inspires nothing but disgust at the feigned "wholesomeness" and "relatability". If they had initially advertised their game in the same kind of language, then there would be no need to react this way; but they know that, for whatever mysterious reason, it is often better to advertise the game in a normal way. So why do these British cigarettes always feel safe to deceive and disrespect their paying customers by not maintaining the communication style that has been established and therefore is expected? Completely deplorable ♥♥♥♥!

Arcane可以瞑目了,我发现了其它同样有趣的游戏。说着玩的,还是期待Arcane憋个好的出来吧
Amazing game with original "Thief" and "Blood" vibes. Excellent atmosphere, great sound design and music. Good difficulty. Graphics suit this game very well. Big areas to explore. At first - really challenging, later on you can become a very efficient killer, and it's fun. Revolver and shotguns are super fun to use. Most importantly, this game rewards you for exploration. It's such a rarity these days that every single corner can give you something useful, but you have to look for it, otherwise a lot of stuff can/will be left behind. It's been a long time since I've enjoyed playing a game this much. Stealth is the bread and butter of this game and it works perfectly. I liked that you can headshot someone with a loud revolver and the enemies don't rush at you in an instant. They usually run to the victim and then start the search. If they spot you and you need to run - you usually can outrun every enemy, with a few exceptions, and get out of their line of sight to safety. Ammo is pretty scarce early on. But here is a tip, you can save and exit near the vendor and his inventory will refresh after loading, so if you have the money - you can buy a big amount of bullets this way. It just takes a bit of time though. BUT, this game has one big ass flaw. The saving system is atrocious. There are no checkpoints, no auto-saves when completing a quest, nothing. If you don't die or you don't manually save and exit (there is no option to just save the game and continue to play without going back to the main menu) - you can and will lose progress if the game crashes. Once I lost 7!! f*cking hours (was a big, fun weekend session) of game progress. I played the second scenario/chapter and was more than halfway done and... "error" crashes to desktop and... last save... 7h ago! 7 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hours ago. I dropped the game for 5 days before going back in... I had to redo everything. I lost all xp, all items and unique weapons. Nothing saved... This saving system sucks ass. Give me a quick save option or at least manual saving.with several save slots. The second crash in chapter 3 deleted about 16 minutes of progress (I was constantly doing the "save and exit" strat), so not that big of a deal, but still. Even games from 30 years ago had a quick save button while this all-around amazing game - doesn't. It blows my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mind. Anyway. After losing the progress. I couldn't recapture the "fun" I had before that. I think that the last chapter was the weakest, didn't like the level design that much and because some enemies are just too much of a pain in the ass, like the one who lives in the blood pools, and spits at you while doing squats like a motherf*cker. Annoying af. There is also one monster type that can become invisible like the Predator from the movies. But you can learn to deal with it using a shotgun or other heavy damage weapon. Overall. a super fun game. Quite nostalgic with its presentation and sound design. Just fix the saving system!
This game is beautiful but it really needs a spanish translate
Blood West is S.T.A.L.K.E.R. with zombie cowboys
Every shot counts, every encounter is deadly, and your resources are very limited. A tense and brutal experience all the way to the end. Highly recommend.
DO NOT PLAY IF YOU ONLY USE CONTROLLER I tried giving this game a chance as I thought it looked cool... The problem is that this game is balanced for god k/m users (feels like that when you die constantly) go away if you're thinking "git gud" you try using a controller with one hand
Act 2 boss has to be one of the most unfun waste of time bosses i have ever seen in a videogame, what the actual ♥♥♥♥. Edit: Tried out the roguelike dlc, incredibly boring and they label it as "could have been a standalone" when it's just the same maps from the campaign. As boring as it can be.
Annoyingly hard, annoying enemies. Raged quit. Made it to the 3rd level. I want to play to enjoy my time not be frustrated, walk for 10 min, die and do it all over again. Lame
I love Blood West to bits. I knew very little about it going in. I read reviews from people stating that they misconstrued it as a Boomer Shooter before realizing that it was more of a stealth based game of exploration, and I figured that maybe it could be up my alley, depending on how it goes. I was quite simply unprepared for how much I would fall in love with it. It's the first game in a long time that felt like I simply couldn't put it down, the gameplay so addicting to me that it quite frankly came at the expense of the productivity of my daily work. This isn't a fast-paced game about aggressive combat; Blood West is really more of an action RPG about sneaking around your enemies either to get past them safely, or to take them out from behind. The greatest incentive to go in quiet comes in form of your enemies' attack power which, especially early on, is very dangerous. Even the simplest enemy hits like a freight train, and going in guns blazing will have you dead in seconds. But since melee shots to unaware enemies come with an enormous damage bonus, you yourself are quite deadly as well, offering a good balance where your enemies have the advantage in direct combat while you have the advantage in stealth. What I love about this dynamic is how it makes very encounter feel meaningful. No enemy is simple fodder and every encounter requires some amount of thought to come out of it unscathed. Furthermore, since guns and ammo are rare, the act of firing a shot is in and of itself usually done out of a sense of urgency, a decision you don't make lightly. Perhaps intentionally, this aspect is enhanced by the sound design, where guns don't just sound loud, but downright dramatic, making each pull of the trigger feel like a profound inflection point of the encounter. Much of your time shooting will ultimately be defensive, saved for when your attempt at stealth goes south and you're forced to pull out your shotgun to try and hastily put down an opponent or two before the situation careens out of control. Varied enemy types with highly differing behavior and danger levels, as well as different types of ammunition better suited to certain types of enemies than others, fill out a simple yet compelling combat system that feels more akin to a survival horror game than a typical first-person shooter. But by far the best element of Blood West is the exploration. The base game is not organized level-by-level but rather, gives you 3 open-world maps to explore at your leisure. Very little is blocked off to you even from the start and hidden throughout the world is rare artifacts and powerful weapons to reward the player patient enough to search every dark corner of the Barren Lands. The loot system is similar to other ARPGs, with weapons often coming in multiple forms of rarity, from rusty and dull, to magical and cursed. This was the aspect that kept me coming back the most, as I can't express enough how rewarding it was, especially early on, to find your first decent implement of destruction to even the odds against your undead foes. The game's difficulty can seem intimidating at first but assuming you learn all the right lessons in the first chapter, you should find your deaths few and far between from then on. Players patient enough to respect the stealth mechanics will be mostly fine. As of writing this, I've completed the base game and only died 3 times, all in the first chapter (not that the 3rd chapter didn't make some very hostile gestures toward my life), and two of those can absolutely be attributed to lackadaisical sneaking my part. One mechanic some may find frustrating is that dying comes with the penalty of curses that make the gameplay harder until you find a means of cleansing your soul. However, there are items you can find to avoid this fate, even in death, and I've never once actually had a soul-flaw or curse, despite dying a handful of times. I could say more and would love to but I'm trying not to make this review go on forever so the best thing I can say is: Blood West absolutely rules, and you should buy it. It's worth the base price, and as of writing this review, the base game is on sale for under $7 so this is truly a no brainer.
