BlazBlue Entropy Effect

I got this more or less as a fan of the OG blazblue game and thought it might be entertaining for a while. It has definitely exceeded expectations, it takes the rouguelike formula and applies it to unlocking parts of your character's movesets so over the course of a run you really evolve how complex your character is. (not to mention it also has elemental boons straight outta Hades). Very fun to take each character out for a spin. Also a lot of love went into the look of this game, ArcSys always has impressive sprite work and this game uses it to great visual effect. I don't think I'll get hundreds of rougelike hours out of it like a game like Hades but I hit around 20 before feeling like I had done most things and that's without the DLC characters who I'd pick up next time they're on sale. The bonus levels from Dead Cells and Icey were completely unexpected too.

En/Ru -En I’ll start with a confession: I played a pirated version (because I didn’t have the money back then, but I wanted to try something new). However, I liked the game so much—the visual style, music, story, and gameplay—that I decided to support the developers and am now playing the official version. And yeah, basically, my entire playthrough boils down to frantic click-spamming on Teokaka, lol. :P -Ru: Начну с признания: я играл в пиратскую версию (потому что тогда не было денег, но хотелось попробовать что-то новое). Однако игра мне до жути понравилась — и визуальный стиль, и музыка, и сюжет не плох, и геймплей, — что я решил поддержать разработчиков и теперь прохожу её официально. Ну и да, по сути, всё моё прохождение сводится к спаму на теокаке через колесо :Р
