Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
About
The second scripture in the Blasphemous series portends the return of The Penitent One, with a story that continues from the free Wounds of Eventide DLC for the original game, where The Heart in the sky heralded the return of The Miracle and foretold the birth of a new miracle child.
Awakened in a strange new land, and displaced from his final resting place, The Penitent One is thrust back into the endless cycle of life, death, and resurrection, with no other option than to explore this perilous new world and uncover its long-forgotten secrets.
Hordes of grotesque enemies stand in your way, awaiting final judgement by the brutal hand of the Penitent One, with titanic twisted bosses also lurking in the darkness, waiting for their chance to return you to the grave from whence you came.
Taking them down won’t be easy, but with Blasphemous 2 offering more chances to customise and improve your skill set, along with several new unique weapons to wield with righteous zeal and unending fury, victory might just be within grasp.
Ultimately, only one thing is certain… Penance Never Ends
Having awoken in a strange new land, your journey starts anew in a series of enchantingly grotesque landscapes, oozing Gothic charm and littered with unforgiving traps. How you tackle the labyrinthian world remains at your discretion, there is no wrong turn to be made, only scores to settle
The Penitent One shows no mercy, and with a series of new weapons offering new moves, brutal executions, and expanded combos, destruction will rain on any that stand in his way

Blasphemous 2 offers up new ways to play, with the ability to customise and improve your base skillset, alongside several new unique weapons to unleash devastating attacks on enemies

Hordes of monstrous foes stand between you and your goal; twisted bosses with unique attack patters and sundering abilities will put your skills to the test as you fight to stand triumphant when the dust settles

A whole new world awaits, bustling with mysterious new NPCs to interact with, some will offer aid, some will ask for it, and others will send you on death defying missions to obtain long forgotten items. With so much to see and do, the stories and myths you encounter will help you unpick the games myriad of secrets, granting you a deeper understanding of this strange new world

Reviews

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 31: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 23.86/day in the week to Aug 10 → 19.86/day in the week after.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 18.57/day in the week to Jul 30 → 18/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Puta jogo bom da porra, apenas joguem e não perguntem nada
Very fun Metroidvania game. If you enjoyed the first game you'll enjoy this as well. There's a surprisingly large amount of content in this game (also: props to them for adding a free DLC). Probably the best pixel graphics I've ever seen in a game (and I do not say that lightly). The story is pretty weird but the atmosphere is good. Runs amazingly well on Steam Deck (battery was lasting me about 4-5 hours too). There is a fair amount of backtracking in this game though unfortunately (to be expected in a game like this but still kind of annoying). There is also an obnoxious achievement that makes you speedrun the first part of the game, which I didn't enjoy. Still though at least it was less annoying than the speedrun achievement in the first game. Anyway, it's not perfect but it's a great game. I definitely recommend it if you enjoy Metroidvanias.
Blasphemous 2 is everything a sequel should be. Combat feels incredible, three weapons, each with different personalities, and two more of them from DLC take it further. Bosses aren't that tough but so satisfying to beat. The art is stunning. Grotesque, gothic, dripping with detail, every screenshot looks like a painting. Genuinely one of the best-looking 2D games out there. The lore rewards curiosity, dig into it and the world feels massive and mysterious in the best way. And the exploration is a joy, full of secrets and shortcuts that make backtracking feel rewarding instead of tedious. This is a love letter to the genre. Absolutely worth your time.
