About
The second scripture in the Blasphemous series portends the return of The Penitent One, with a story that continues from the free Wounds of Eventide DLC for the original game, where The Heart in the sky heralded the return of The Miracle and foretold the birth of a new miracle child.
Awakened in a strange new land, and displaced from his final resting place, The Penitent One is thrust back into the endless cycle of life, death, and resurrection, with no other option than to explore this perilous new world and uncover its long-forgotten secrets.
Hordes of grotesque enemies stand in your way, awaiting final judgement by the brutal hand of the Penitent One, with titanic twisted bosses also lurking in the darkness, waiting for their chance to return you to the grave from whence you came.
Taking them down won’t be easy, but with Blasphemous 2 offering more chances to customise and improve your skill set, along with several new unique weapons to wield with righteous zeal and unending fury, victory might just be within grasp.
Ultimately, only one thing is certain… Penance Never Ends
Having awoken in a strange new land, your journey starts anew in a series of enchantingly grotesque landscapes, oozing Gothic charm and littered with unforgiving traps. How you tackle the labyrinthian world remains at your discretion, there is no wrong turn to be made, only scores to settle
The Penitent One shows no mercy, and with a series of new weapons offering new moves, brutal executions, and expanded combos, destruction will rain on any that stand in his way

Blasphemous 2 offers up new ways to play, with the ability to customise and improve your base skillset, alongside several new unique weapons to unleash devastating attacks on enemies

Hordes of monstrous foes stand between you and your goal; twisted bosses with unique attack patters and sundering abilities will put your skills to the test as you fight to stand triumphant when the dust settles

A whole new world awaits, bustling with mysterious new NPCs to interact with, some will offer aid, some will ask for it, and others will send you on death defying missions to obtain long forgotten items. With so much to see and do, the stories and myths you encounter will help you unpick the games myriad of secrets, granting you a deeper understanding of this strange new world

suma blasphemmia
I considered leaving a negative review, but after pondering over it I decided not to since the positives outweigh the negatives. This is due to the horrible balancing of a decent number of both areas and bosses, especially towards the endgame and in the DLCs; at times it felt like this was the Dark Souls 2 of Blasphemous, they throw a large number of them at you without any consideration for balance, and this made it considerably less fun than B1. That said, almost everything else is great: the weapons, music, pixel art, setting, mechanics, quality of life and puzzles. The new cutscenes are fully animated and have more frames compared to the 1st game but the quality itself is worse in my opinion.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 31: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Magnificent game!!!!!
Um dos melhores metroidvanias disponíveis. Gráficos lindos, jogabilidade precisa e divertida, história boa. Recomendadíssimo!
bom que so
A clear upgrade over the first game. Everything just feels slightly more polished from controls to mechanics. The only complaint I can give is that the first games pixel art cinematics style was lot cooler than the cartoon style in this one.
365里路有点恶心,靠这种方式拉高游玩时长,跑图不仅无聊重复,还败坏游玩欲望。
魂味十足
+Fluid character physics that match the environment sizing nicely. +Complex combat system with great enemy diversity. ~Blasphemous 2 is generally more polished mechanically, but Blasphemous 1 is less cliche. ~The aesthetic is slightly less complex than Blasphemous 1, but it feels like a labor of love anyways. -On Void Linux, Blasphemous 2 requires some deeper knowledge of Proton debugging tools and changing certain limits through terminal via editors like mkdir and nano. -While more satisfying, the character's weight doesn't "vibe" with the other choices made in this game, and it's not even snappy enough to feel "awesome" like in Pizza Tower. Character physics are in a weird limbo basically. -I'm going by my gut for this point, but Blasphemous 2's execution of Christian themes, despite being more subtle, doesn't feel as "grounded". While "silent protagonist syndrome" or "interpret the story yourself" can work, I'm not sure I like it as much as in the first game. When to choose Blasphemous 1 (the "Hollow Knight" by this analogy): >You like slow, lore-heavy, atmospheric explorers, but you want more combat than Subnautica. When to choose Blasphemous 2 (the "Hollow Knight: Silksong" by this analogy): >You like epic literature, crusading, forward-pushing journeys with harder combat, and "vibe" is second to you. When to choose both: >You like the way Blasphemous 1 plays on Christian themes and want a continuation, but with snappier fluidity. When to choose neither: >You already thoroughly understand the Bible (redundant), you want minimal combat, or you want cute/idle time.
