Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Sep 10 → 0.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Very good metroidvania entry that gives me flashbacks of Symphony of the Night. Exploration is greatly rewarded with nicer gear. Story serves the game well but nothing to write home about. Good music and the sword mechanics are interesting but a good gun can carry most of the game except for bosses. The modern QoL improvements such as instant teleport to anywhere is great. This game respects the player's time and is a blast to play. Edit: forgot to mention that the pixel art is gorgeous and is what made me think of castlevania SOTN
el juego dura aproximadamente 10 horas, es de los metroidvania cortos, como los clasicos, aun asi el juego merece totalmente la pena, es de lo mejor que puedes comprar por este precio sin dudarlo.

Blade Chimera is a highly polished, mechanically sharp Metroidvania that prioritizes style and fluid combat over deep narrative substance. The Combat & Mechanical Loop The game shines in its fast-paced second-to-second gameplay. Movement is snappy, featuring air dodges and animation cancels that give you precise control. Weapon Dynamics: Combat is heavily driven by firearms, but you'll get your fair share of swords and whips, though the actual variety of guns feels somewhat limited early on. This is balanced by the Lumina Blade, a spectral sword that anchors the combat system. The Resource Loop: Landing physical attacks (like shooting) restores your MP, while executing magical attacks with the spectral sword regenerates your HP. This enforces a tight, aggressive loop where you constantly cycle between the two to stay alive. Skill Progression: You unlock new skills as you level up, though the game gates some of these behind slightly opaque or convoluted unlock conditions. Level Design & Navigation Traversal: Expect a significant amount of back-and-forth traversing. The game offsets this by allowing you to warp directly between save points, making map navigation much faster once areas are unlocked. Guidance: It is easy to end up wandering aimlessly at the very beginning of the game. To avoid getting lost, check your map for the yellow circle—this UI marker clearly dictates your next objective and keeps progression streamlined. Difficulty & The Death Penalty Save System Punishment: The game utilizes an unforgiving, old-school penalty system. If you die, you lose all progress made since your last save. This makes pushing into new territory risky and dying highly annoying. Combat Balance: For the majority of the runtime, standard encounters are manageable due to generous dodge i-frames and your constant healing loop. However, the late game introduces heavy enemy density and bullet sponges, making the brutal death penalty much more noticeable. Boss fights avoid this artificial difficulty, offering distinct, genuinely fun multi-phase mechanics. Visual Presentation The aesthetic is a massive highlight. It features high-tier pixel art that blends traditional Japanese architecture with gritty cyberpunk environments. The sprite animations are incredibly fluid, directly contributing to how good the movement and combat feel. Verdict The story is dry and filled with predictable tropes, but the mechanics carry the experience. It is a very fun, stylish take on the Metroidvania genre with an addictive combat loop, provided you can tolerate the punishing save system. *Shortly after the dog rescue, there's some ideological non-sense in the game in a form of a conversation. You can find the woman by going to the very right after getting your sword back. Just so you know, the conversation borderlines on woke. The woman asks if it's true woman can't be enlist, yada yada. Shin does say men and woman have different bodies. But eventually, Shin says, well if a woman chooses to be a soldier, I'll support her. The woman mentions something about the Patriarchy and then asks Shin if who he work for is wrong then. Shin basically say yes because after 30 years of being a sleep, things have changed. Very Beta progressive male. Honestly, this conversation had no business being in the game as it's not part of the story except to push someone's agenda. I'm surprised Shin isn't trans actually.
A very good addition to the Castlevania space. Overall pretty easy, breezed through it, but the aesthetic and feel carry the experience. The writing, however, is sophomoric. It's barely serviceable, but thankfully it never really matters. Pretty short, but worth at least one play. Get on sale.
Assim como Deedlit In Wonder Labyrinth, a Team Ladybug entrega outro Metroidvania muitíssimo competente e divertido. As mecânicas são intuitivas e a exploração é satisfatória. Jogaço que mata minha ânsia por metroidvanias no estilo mais tradicional da palavra, sem sombra de dúvidas. . . . . . . . P.S.: (SPOILER) Se você pretende fazer o final verdadeiro, vai precisar grindar um pouco de nível no fim do jogo.
At this price point, I definitely recommend getting this. Had a blast playing BLADECHIMERA. Ladybug made another Metroidvania classic.
This is a nice little metroidvania game. It has some decent story, cool enemies, and skills although you can mostly ignore the skills if you want. My only gripe is a certain 3 phase boss should have been better balanced. I did beat that boss, but it felt un balanced compared to other bosses in the game.
So many missed opportunities. Like why isnt any background items breakable? Like when ya run past the theater projector why isnt there a faint image in that room? Far fetched or peak background. Even if there isn't to gain its the idea giving depth Well they do alot right & there's some things that ain't great. Like why jump+melee is faster than regular melee? I get why the button scheme is the way it is but I def push the wrong button often. I heard it's short so hope doin 100% will help. BC is def more intriguing that RoL
