Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.13/day in the week to Aug 3 → 29.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Black Jacket's biggest strength is its story, simple but lovingly and compellingly told, as well as its hints of Disco Elysium influence with its impressionist character work, art, and voice acting. It has meta progression that does not feel out of place, allowing the visual and audio design shine while you get your bearings on its systems. I do think its (thematically appropriate) choice of 21 ascension levels is far too high, and I'd much rather have had 10-15 with a tighter difficulty curve. As it was, the game was too easy for most of my playthrough, and its systems are not complex nor deep enough for me to want to play through the game another dozen or so times with very little in the way of story or voice lines left to see. I will say that the final boss was delightfully tricky, though, and was both a high note and a great place for my time with this game to end. Black Jacket is a game I could recommend to both genre newcomers and fanatics alike.
It's a very good rouge lite deck builder. Fun mechanics and atmospheric. It does lean towards the easier side most of the time. Grinding to get to the harder difficulties gets repetetive once you've "solved" the game and know how to play optimally.

Playing Black Jack with powerups is peak
It's good. Only complaint would be the difficulty scaling. It's kinda irrelevant with an optimized strategy other than levels 10 and 21. The death card levels are the closest to being impactful otherwise. Wouldn't mind a rework to the difficulty effects to make the other levels more impactful, but I still highly recommend the game.
i wish i was around for that child to whoop him when he started thinking about playing blackjack with his chugga chugga choo choo s . game feels like youre having a stroll and then suddenly fall into a manhole (but in a very good way) great story , great voice acting and gambling mashed together into a delicious stew . thought i was just gonna kill some time playing blackjack trying to buy my way out of hell , turns out i accidentally signed up for my heart to be ripped out of my chest and be used as a wager in the bets . point is , play the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game , if youre considering buying it , just do it .
