About
Black Dungeon: Draw A Card is a pixel-style action game combining rogue-like dungeon exploration, card drawing, and real-time combat.
You play as a lowly scroll-binder, accidentally dragged into the Devourer Dungeon. By drawing and casting powerful skill cards, you’ll battle fierce enemies, strengthen your deck, and eventually confront the final boss.
Each card is a tactical decision—Fireball, Toxic Mist, Meteoric, even hidden cards. You’ll need to master combos, invincibility rolls, shields, and rage boosts to survive intense battles across maze-like rooms.
The game supports mouse and keyboard controls. Cards are played via drag-and-drop, blending strategy with smooth, responsive action. Every interaction features dynamic effects. With camera shakes triggered by attacks, hits, and boss skills, each strike feels impactful.
Randomly generated dungeon layouts, enemy groups, and treasure rewards ensure high replay-ability. As you progress, enemies grow stronger, and the stakes rise with every level—beating it once is just the beginning.
Clear the dungeon three times in a row, and you might even unlock secret content…?
With crisp UI, juicy animations, and immersive BGM sets for every stage—from entering the dungeon to defeating the boss—this visually rich, mechanically polished game is 100% free!

Black Dungeon: Draw A Card is a surprisingly fun little action roguelike that immediately caught my attention with its combination of real time combat and card mechanics. I play as a lowly scroll binder who gets pulled into the Devourer Dungeon after opening a forbidden book, and from there I have to fight my way through a dangerous maze while collecting cards and trying to defeat Taotie. I liked how quickly the game gets into its main idea. The card system is easily my favorite part. I draw skill cards and use them during combat, with options covering attacks, defensive abilities and more unusual effects. I liked that I am not simply waiting for turns to pass. I am actively moving, dodging and deciding when to cast something while enemies are attacking. That combination gives the combat a nice balance between planning and quick reactions. Dodging and positioning matter just as much as having a strong deck. I can use invincibility rolls, shields and other defensive tools when things get dangerous, while stronger cards become more useful when I find opportunities to set up combinations. I enjoyed the feeling of learning how to manage my cards without losing control of the action. The camera shakes and hit effects also give attacks a lot more impact than I expected from such a small game. The dungeon structure helps keep the runs interesting. Rooms, enemy groups and treasure rewards are randomly generated, so I cannot simply memorize one perfect route and repeat it. I liked having that uncertainty because each run gives me another excuse to experiment with different cards and combat approaches. The pixel art also fits the old school fantasy theme nicely, while the music helps make the dungeon feel more active. My biggest issue is that the overall experience can become repetitive once I have seen enough of the card pool and enemy patterns. The basic combat is enjoyable, but I think more character variety and deeper build options would have made the runs feel more distinct. The game is also only available with Chinese language support, which makes it harder to recommend to players who cannot read Chinese. Still, I think there is a lot to appreciate here for a free game. The card mechanics are simple enough to understand while still giving me room to make decisions during combat, and the roguelike structure gives me a reason to try again after a failed run. I especially liked that the game feels more active than a traditional card battler without throwing away the strategic side. Overall, Black Dungeon: Draw A Card is a polished little roguelike that combines action and deckbuilding in a way I really enjoyed. The real time combat, card casting and random dungeon structure work nicely together, while the old school pixel presentation gives it plenty of charm. It could use more variety and broader language support, but the core gameplay is strong enough that I had a great time playing it. Rating: 6.7/10
