Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.43/day in the week to Sep 3 → 2.14/day in the week after.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Jul 22 → 1.38/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Central to Bionic Bay is an innovative swap mechanic and a realistic physics system. When combined, these offer a new way of interacting with the environment – from shifting gravity to interchanging positions with objects and adversaries, and to move, defend, or attack. But be careful not to burn, break, freeze, explode, or vaporize in the process.
Plunge into an ancient, biomechanical world teeming with imaginative devices, mysterious technology, and peculiar inhabitants. Get lost in the vast sci-fi landscapes in gritty high-density pixel art style and suspenseful sound design that makes each biome distinct. Attempt to uncover the secrets of the ancient world.
Fluid movement and reactive physics make for high adrenaline and action-packed moments in each uniquely designed level. Creatively navigate around the many curious hazards by precisely executing the right combination of swaps and maneuvers. And perhaps… have a go at completing each level as fast as you can.
Test your mastery in timed races against other players’ ghosts and leave them in the dust to claim the top spot on the leaderboards. Stay stylish while trying and recognizable on the boards using the in-game feature that lets you create your very own scientist. And through it all, remember not to rest on your laurels, as the Online Mode updates with new events regularly.

decent platformer
Good Platformer, Terrible Story
Graphics / Performance It's mostly pixel sprites with some nice background art. Runs fine on a Steam Deck and on Linux under Proton. Gameplay The swap mechanic used throughout the game and the floaty physics of jumping are the two standout features. The game has a ton of puzzles, some dexterity-based, others relying on good application of the swap mechanic but could also be brute forced with skill. Towards the end, you get two more abilities and the mix of swapping and using those additional skills to solve puzzles is really fun. You get those "Eureka" moments of glee when the right application of jumping, swapping and
slow-mo to make platforms as well as rotating gravity to fall in the right directions
gets you to the next checkpoint. Sound Sound-wise, it's decent but nothing memorable. Final Thoughts It's a good platformer with neat stages that present thoughtful puzzles centered around the swap mechanic and additional abilities you get throughout the game. There is some "attempt" at a story but it's pretty nonexistent. Do not expect the story to carry your interest to the end; it's really the puzzles and stage design that got me to the credits. 1/2 teleported thumb up
A Hidden Indie Gem
I've never been a fan of pixel-art platformers. Most of them fail to immerse me and often feel like copy-and-paste versions of each other, even when they're trying to be different. Indie games don't always have the budget or large development teams of AAA titles, but they can still have something special at their core that pulls you into their world. There are only a handful of games that have ever given me that feeling and kept me hooked for hours. GRIS, Neva, Creaks, Samorost, Blasphemous, and a few others all had something unique to offer. I never cared that they were pixelated or stylized because they delivered something far more important: atmosphere, creativity, and personality. Bionic Bay proudly joins that list. It's one of the most ambitious indie games I've experienced. After watching the developers explain the game's mechanics and how they built the game's layered world, I appreciated its artistic direction even more. I actually stumbled across this game completely by accident, and I'm genuinely glad I did. Even though the game doesn't focus much on traditional storytelling and instead relies on subtle environmental details, brief interactions, and its atmosphere, it works incredibly well. The ambience is a solid 10/10, the visuals are stunning, and the gameplay is both creative and satisfying. It even reminded me of Nekki's Vector, one of my childhood favorites, which made the experience even more special. Another thing I absolutely loved was the puzzle design. Instead of becoming frustrating or feeling like they were there just to slow down your progress, every puzzle felt rewarding to solve. The game constantly introduces new mechanics and clever ideas, keeping every section fresh. Unlike some games where difficult puzzles eventually make you want to quit. The ending left me genuinely intrigued, as if I had just discovered an entirely new world. I hope we get to see more from these developers in the near future because they've created something truly special. Sometimes, all it takes is one random discovery to find a game you'll never forget!
Fantastic platformer, dripping with atmosphere and great pacing as abilities are introduced. Great balance of dexterity and problem-solving, highly recommend!
Очень прикольная игрулька! Запустил и 2 часа с удовольствием провёл.
i had no intention to finish the game, just wanted to try it since i bought it just because it was on a good price with clair obscure: expedition 33, after starting it i found myself playing almost 75% of the game with only 5 missions left, so i decided to end it, and those 5 missions gave me hell, very good platformer game
製作團隊小時候一定是走在路上莫名其妙被炸彈炸傷,出院又被炸了好幾次才會製作出這遊戲。
Затянутое, кривое говно. Потраченых денег жаль.
