Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 3 → 0.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Quick Description: -BioGun is a twin stick shooter, metroidvania hybrid that has a bright, vibrant art style and a fun sense of humor. While I enjoyed my first 8ish hrs with this one, I wouldn't say that I was ever blown away. I like that it's made by a small team of passionate game devs. I liked the different weapons, some of the cool abilities, and the bosses are pretty challenging at times. Unfortunately, this game lacks a lot of polish. I ran into about a dozen or so very small bugs. Near hour 7, the game would start lagging like crazy when there was a lot of particle effects on screen. I could have forgiven all of these things, if I didn't run into a game ending bug. I tried to fight a boss 4 times, and all 4 times, the game froze at exactly the half way mark of the fight. The boss has a transformation when you take out half of his health, but no matter what I did, I could never continue the fight. Consensus: -Bottom Shelf Game (Tier 5 and makes up 10% of my reviews). This is a huge bummer b/c I was finally starting to unlock some really cool upgrades and abilities. I was starting to feel really powerful, and then this happened. I see zero reason to continue b/c this is not an optional boss. You have to beat him in order to get the Atomic Drop ability, which allows you to clear pathways to unlock new areas of the map. So, I can't in good conscience recommend this game, unless this is patched up in the future.

A very funny and cool metroidvania. I enjoyed it a lot! I might even try to 100% it someday. (+) Loved the cartoony art style (+) Exploration always felt rewarding (+) Non linear to the right extent (I sequence-break’d twice without even knowing) (+) So many easter eggs (+) Voice acting was very enjoyable. (+) The story and writing was quite funny, I actually laughed out loud (+) Very interesting achievements / challenges (0) Controls can be quite finicky and complicated initially, but you get used to it eventually (-) Does not work well on Steam Deck, the game also tells you that (-) Some bugs that can be quite annoying (I had to restart a few times to fix them) (-) Movement sometimes failed miserably
Even though twin-stick metroidvanias tend to be not my cup of tea as fiddling with one stick is already too much for me, I massively enjoyed completing this one over its 20 hours play time (96%). The game is drawn beautifully if you like these comic-style colourful MV variants and it has lots of fun upgrades, which come early and often. Backtracking is ok, the map is AWESOME, with upgrades allowing you to show secrets and collectables on it. Bosses tended to the difficult in the beginning but not later on, as the game allows you to grind for more health midgame. There are accessibility "cheats" in case difficulty is too much for you (great!), but they disable achievements (not so great). Some achievements for 100% are too grindy for my taste but otherwise this is a great game and an underrated gem. Just a shame the devs do not develop a successor but something completely different. I hope some day there will another MV from you guys! :) Thanks for this one.

Probably one of the saddest cases of "It doesn't work on my pc but I would love to play it" Due to how this game works... It just doesn't it runs very low FPS even when having a beast of a computer and it saddens me that I cannot run it or even have a chance to experience it. I do not know why the game doesn't run well but just a heads up that it has good gameplay and great OST but I just can't run it.
BioGun is a very large scope Metroidvania that looks like Hollow Knight but biology related at every turn. It has its own unique spin on the Metroidvania, adding fun mechanics and twists. There's a lot of experimentation with combat mechanics, fun cosmetics to unlock, and a variety of weapons to play around with. You get the fun platforming and combat feel of Hollow Knight, but without the intense and punishing difficulty. Death isn't the end and you don't really lose anything. There is a very...very large map. I'm only 7 hours in and I keep discovering more areas. I think I might have found the general shape of the whole map by now, and it's a lot bigger than I was expecting for something made by two people. Very impressive, and well done. The story seems intriguing, and I'm loving this mix between biology and anime in a 2D Metroidvania. The characters all seem to have different personalities, and pretty much everything ties into the main theme of the game. Nothing really seems out of place and the immersion is great. There are lots of comical moments and sometimes the characters even react to what you do outside of dialogue. I will say some of the story moments made me a little uncomfortable (
like when boogers are kissing each other
), but for the most part it has been fine so far (and I'm really sensitive to that kind of stuff). There are definitely some bugs in the game. The developers have tried squashing many of them but were starting to run into limitations of the game engine they are working in. There hasn't been anything terrible yet, and bugs aren't very common. Considering the size of this game and the incredibly small development team, I would say that's a welcome surprise. Overall, BioGun is a really enjoyable experience for a variety of gaming skill levels. It's a charming and thoughtful game that really ties the story and gameplay together well. I'm excited to see how the game continues from here. Give it a go and help this dog feel better while saving dogkind!
100% RECOMMEND WITH ALL MY HEART. This is one of the BEST Metroidvanias I've ever played. It also just so happens to be one of the most unique and original mvs on the market. The story, world building, unlockable moves, artwork, platforming, and combat are all top notch and combine to form one of the most fun metroidvanias you'll ever play. I honestly cannot believe this isn't listed up there with the likes of Hollow Knight by the majority of fans but it belongs right under it imo. The ONLY issues I have with the game is the difficulty could stand to go up a notch on some of the bosses and there I encountered a handful of bugs that half of which caused me to have to turn the game off. The other half of bugs were fixable by hitting the start button to kind of reset the games state I guess while still playing. Then I just shot my blaster and moved around and was fine.
Wow!! What a game, indeed worthy of much more attention. Had a blast with it, the overall package is quite a ride. Very much recommended for those who enjoy this type of games. To me it’s up there with the very best, no need to mention their names. BIOGUN it’s a hell of a game 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
