About

Welcome to BioEden, a cozy management game where you will build a self-sustaining network of structures, all working in harmony to bring extinct animals back to life. As a Keeper, you have been entrusted by the Cosmic Collective to bring life back to a planet quietly waiting to be healed. Every healing begins with a single step. This one is yours.

Upon your arrival, search for debris sites scattered across the land, they are the foundation of your journey. Recycle them into resources, and use those to build the base of your network: a solar energy system to generate electricity, and a water system to distribute it across all your buildings. Connect them together, weave a network across the land, and manage the supply and demand for every structure you create.
But plan with care. Each addition to your planet consumes resources, draws on energy, and nudges pollution upward. Find the balance between creation, exploration, and restraint, to accomplish the very mission that brought you here.

This world reached out, and you answered.
Recycle your buildings once they have served their purpose. Purify your planet’s lakes and rivers. Reclaim its forgotten ruins. Restore the soil, and watch as life slowly returns to a landscape that had almost given up. Transform this barren planet into a thriving eden, and leave no trace that you were ever there.
You are not just building a home. You are becoming a force of renewal.

On your planet, life is ready to return. Inside your dome, you'll welcome back dozens of extraordinary species, each with its own needs. Gather DNA samples, place your cocoons, and carefully tend to the conditions each creature requires: temperature, humidity, and the right vegetation to make them feel truly at home. Meet their needs, and watch these gentle beings flourish.

The Collective brings together five distinct Guilds, each with its own identity, abilities, and archetype. United by a shared goal, each Guild also pursues its own ambitions, shaped by its core purpose and values. Your choice of Guild defines how you approach your mission: the methods may differ, the philosophies may clash, but the planet needs healing all the same. Choose your path wisely.

In BioEden, you can take the time you need. No fail states, no pressure, just the quiet pull of discovery and the deep satisfaction of watching a world transform through your choices. Let the soft sounds of nature envelop you as you tend, wander, and watch your planet gently come back to life.

Currently I wouldn't recommend. I played the demo which was lacking in content and mechanics but the feel was nice so I had some hopes for the full release. Alas, the current release barely feels like an evolution from the demo. There is no significant additional mechanics. I hope more gameplay will be added to make this worth a purchase.
I guess I played this for 32 hours and have 100% the game. It took four days, so eight hours a day. I only play that much if I liked the game. However, I'm done and there's no reason for me to keep playing. Hopefully the devs add some stuff later. To the game's credit, it was fun. There were different strategies I could deploy and I felt satisfied when they worked out, but not frustrated if they didn't. There are six "guilds", including a tutorial guild, that come off with different personalities, themes and aesthetics. They had different voices, different dialog, and the unique buildings. In the guild descriptions there were gameplay expectations that warned you how each one played differently. However, I did not notice a difference in play style between guilds. I think this bothers me the most. I feel like I played the same game, the same way, five times. (Tutorial was significantly shorter.) The sequences for the plot were identical for every guild. When you advance far enough, the only real challenging limit in place gets diminished and becomes inconsequential. Also, tutorial messages popped up in EVERY playthrough, and to my knowledge, there was no way to turn them off. I was also gonna complain about all the endings being the same, but the final final ending, when you've completed all guilds, was different. I feel like I complained a lot. I really did like the game. I would like to see it improved on. Thank you for your time.

I bought this game after reading the mixed reviews and I honestly believe most of the people who have problems with the game are just rushing to fast. A key point of this game is gradual expantion in order to balance resources with your environmental impacts. I havn't played any games like this with such an emphasis on the environmental impacts of your actions. Its a great calm game to play in your free time. Can't wait to see any future updates!
Very chill game. I played the demo first and have been pumped for it since. This is NOT a hardcore management sim, and that's okay, it doesn't pretend to be! I do wish there was a bit more tied to the messages you get throughout the game, because some feel a bit random and unnecessary. But overall, I enjoyed the process of cleaning up, putting down the animals, and micromanaging the conditions in each dome to have the perfect environment for all animals at all time, with every single available animal from one region in a single dome. This is a game to play after work when you just want to do something nice.
As much as i want to recommend this game, i can't. I loved the demo and was so excited for the rull release, thinking there would be a lot more content. Turns out, it does not. The Animals / Domes makes no diffrence? You have to clean up the planet and the only way to do that is to clean the water and remove waste. There is nothing else to do and no decision making in the game. It tells you want to do, went to do it and how.
I love challenging management games, but I also like chill. This game has both. Youre not constantly trying to figure out what fire to put out next but you cant just go building like crazy and spending resources without care. There is a lull where you just have to wait for resources to build because you have to be careful how many technological buildings you can erect due to essentially trying to restore a pollution ruined planet, but it doesnt bother me. In fact, I can appreciate the change of strategy, especially with how satisfying it is to aesthetically see your restoration progress. Not only that, but inside the dome, the task of creating habitats that keep the animals happy is like a whole different game within. This is a definite recommend from me if you have a decent amount of patience and love terraforming/restoration games.
