Beyond Sunset

Gameplay is alright. Not mind blowing compared to other modern boomer shooters, but it's pretty fun. Movement was enjoyable. Gunplay was okay. Story won't really blow you away, but it's there. Seemed like they wanted to shove every scifi and cyberpunk trope into one big pot and stir it up. Characters didn't really give me any reason to care. Ending didn't feel like I had accomplished something great. I enjoyed it, but by the end it felt like a chore. Over stayed it's welcome a little bit in terms of length. Would recommend if you like this kind of game, but I wouldn't call it amazing. Very middle of the road for modern boomer shooter experiences, with a lot of better and a lot of worse options out there.

Overall an enjoyable experience. The gunplay is fun and the dodge mechanics/abilities are intuitive and well designed. It has a decent story with your basic Cyber-Punk themes and messaging. Ran well on my system with only about 3 random crashes, but I did not lose much progress so it did not bother me. The main downside would be a lack of weapons. There are alternate fire modes with each one though and you get 2 attack powers that help mix up the combat. I would recommend if you enjoy Boomer-Shooters.

Brutal and fast paced.

Good shooter with a semi-but-not-really-open world with a dash of very light RPG thrown into it. Combat has a similar flow to Doom Eternal which works surprisingly well. Can highly recommend.

Даже полноценного обзора этого игросодержащего продукта не будет. Кривые спрайты, лажовые цветовые палитры, кривая локализация, кривые анимации, отвратительное звуковое сопровождение, вылеты персонажа за пределы карты, медленная и унылая боёвка. Какая-то лажа пытающаяся давить на ностальгию первые часы, дабы рефанд игрок не сделал, цепляющего "стержня" у игры нет. Криво-криво-кособоко.

Gave it a fair shot and I loved the aesthetics and music, but honestly I wasn't too into the gameplay or design of it overall. Lots of tedious walking around and one note enemies, and it becomes pretty repetitive after you understand all your tools. Still worth a shot if you like how it looks.
