About

Attention Operator,
You have been selected to oversee a critical mission. Our team of elite soldiers is set to descend into a newly discovered abyss, believed to lead to uncharted territories beneath the earth. Your role is to monitor the soldiers' progress, ensuring their safety and collecting data.

As they venture deeper, remain vigilant and provide guidance based on their transmissions. You will have access to a status monitor, a radar, a radio to scan various frequencies, and other equipment to assist in your mission.
Be aware that communication may become sporadic as they descend. Strange anomalies have already been detected, and the nature of the abyss remains unknown.

Prepare for the unexpected and maintain operational readiness at all times. Prepare to face the unimaginable.
End of message.

I want to preface that I had some expectations going into the game that it would be more puzzle-heavy or more involved than it ended up being. Unfortunately, it really seems like it falls into the trap of visuals over substance. I recently played and ADORED Mole, and thought this might be in a semi-similar vein based off of the trailer and other promotional materials, but it was just very much... not. You are the Operator, and it is your responsibility to answer calls, monitor team tracking and vitals, radio waves, and visual input on PAPER, but in practice, it FEELS entirely inconsequential. You interact with the vitals and visual input at the beginning of the game, and never again, tracking is never even utilized, and the radio waves are used maybe 2-3 times before being a singular broadcast for the remainder of the game. The only legitimate puzzle was FINE, but felt unsatisfying amidst the distinct lack of what I THOUGHT I was getting into at the time of purchase. As others have said, this unfortunately feels like a walking jumpscare sim where the jumpscares are lukewarm at best-- they're trying too hard, or exist in the game for the (ineffective) gross out factor only. When paired with the half-baked gameplay elements, the runtime just outside of the refund window (no, you can't skip or speed up the dialogue), the flat characters and storyline, it unfortunately had me walking away feeling like I'd just experienced a cheap asset flip, which is disappointing.

Choice jump scares. Great atmosphere, but needs technical work. Seems to max out vram and crashed towards the end.
Short game, but great atomsphere and genuienly scary
Excelente juego, historia, jugabilidad, voces y principalmente el sonido es lo mejor que he escuchado, lo unico criticable es la duracion es muy corto, pero es un juegazo, recomendado!
Probably one of the best horror games I have played in a long while. Extremely immersive and really held the tension well. I will say that the monsters are a bit goofy when you really take a moment to look at them, but since the game does not rely on shoving it in your face to scare you constantly, it never is around long enough to make you realize how goofy it is until replaying for all the endings aside from two scenes: 1.
The bathroom peephole, that made me chuckle more than anything while I watched the head under the table.
and 2.
The Baptistery Ending
. If you are willing to meet the game halfway though it will take you on one hell of a journey, which I mean why are you playing a game (especially as horror game) if you aren't willing to do that to have a good time? The aesthetic and vibes are also amazing, giving a very analog horror vibe with the found footage-esque visuals which I personally love. I personally think the game is worth the full price, even with only being about a 3 hour long experience for your first playthrough and about 3.5 for a completion depending on if you can guess how to get each ending, which honestly it isn't too hard. If you are a horror fan though, buy it however you can, just buy it and support devs making games this good.
A really cool little game. I love the Soviet vibe, and the idea of serving as mission control for the people actually experiencing the horrors, keeping them alive and interpreting what they see secondhand, is really neat. If anything, I wish the game had leaned into it more - the more on-screen horror segments, while well-made and genuinely scary, often felt like they took screen time away from the more interesting narrative of the expedition team. On a similar note, the game's lore, while well-delivered and satisfying to piece together, felt a bit trite. For a game with such a compelling title, compelling premise, and compelling setting, I'd kind of been excited for a bit more from the monster itself. All that said, though, totally worth your eight dollars. The aesthetic is immaculate, the tone felt very well-executed, the writing is solid, the gameplay is fun and the scares are scary. However - devs, if you're reading this - opening the menu NEEDS to pause the game. I know most of the events are triggered by completing other events, but not all of them are, and in a game with time-based events your players MUST be able to pause. I genuinely lost a good hour or two of progress because I decided I'd rather close the game than risk missing something while I let the cat in, and the game's stingy autosave hadn't triggered recently. If I have one genuine gripe with this game, it's that lol.
Lovely game where you get to sit in a cozy room, chat with nice people, and drink in the atmosphere. Would highly recommend if you are anxious and need a break from the demands of the world.
excelente juego felicitaciones muchachos. trama 10/10 graficos 10/10 jugabilidad 10/10 cabra 10/10
How is this thing 8$?? i think they messed up the price, I would be more than happy to pay around 14-16$ considering the value you get, there is a lot of replayability BUT i do hate the lack of voice acting, i think it woulda done this game a huge BUMP. and if the devs can afford it after thhe success of this game, deff add as an update because reading can be annoying after like 40 mins, id rather hear the audio of them talking. 8/10 not that scary either btw but fun to play!
