About

beaterCore is an arcade racing game for those who prefer cheap rusty beaters over specialized sports cars. Buy, repair, restore, and tune your dream project car. Take part in racing events and work your way through the career mode.

Repair your car in first person mode. Purchase furniture and stockpile as many spare parts as you can - you're going to need them.

In beaterCore you'll have to make quick repairs in-between races. Everything can go wrong, and you must be prepared for it! Store items in your car's trunk, but be wise with what you bring with you - space is limited.

Play locally with up to four players on the same screen. Keyboard controls are fully supported!

If career mode is not enough - you can always compete against your friends in online races. You're still going to need your resource management skills - multiplayer races affect your cars the same way as in career mode! Show off your pristine ride, or surprise your friends with track-specific tuning.

Experience tracks across different times of year. Prepare your car for icy winter conditions or enjoy the warm, vibrant colors of autumn.

good game
3 hours in and It is nothing but a blast. The campaign is in depth, multiplayer is surprisingly well made, there is some desync between players sometimes and you might get disconnected from the lobby randomly but that could be a network issue. Cars are nicely designed, the rally races are pretty in-depth and the "fix your car" concept really brings the game together. Graphics are just about what you'd want from a "retro" style rally game and for a game that was just released it is surprisingly stable. Hoping to see more engine sounds in the future!

this game is a lot of fun. good driving physics. car management is a nice touch. not overly cumbersome.
Honestly love this game I don't know how to explain it but I am drawn to it. Its just fun that really it. Also you can tell that the dev actually cares about the game and listens to the players.

really fun game so far, I cant wait for what else you guys add
"should i replace my tires?" "naw ill be fine" 30 secs later I learned what the windshield tastes like
Game is tons of fun, of course you should buy it. Fun arcade racing with simple repair mechanics. Low budget folk racing with old eastern bloc cars. No other game has you get out of the car midrace to replace a flat tire or seized wheel bearing. Part wear was recently reduced by 30-40% on wheels and bearings, the dev is very quick to listen to feedback. I do believe it should have released as early access to implement those changes before release. The AI does need some tuning. Their steering inputs are too erratic (0-100% instantly like they're on keyboard) and they often wobble around on straights or flip entirely in corners. Have had a few races where 2 racers get stuck in a reset loop at the starting line. When they aren't being morons they actually put up a good fight or try to take you out like a xbox kid on wreckfest.
