Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 4 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is a great game - it's fun to play and has a unique art style that stands out from many other games. Try the demo and decide for yourself though, as the full game is more of what the demo gives you. (Be warned that the full game's later stages on NORMAL difficulty are more hectic than any of the demo's stages on HARD difficulty though.) Additionally, both the demo and the full game run flawlessly on the Steam Deck (LCD).

This game does some things very well and some things not so well- ultimately, I don't recommend it just because of the music selection. The game mechanics are really interesting and new (more of a beat trip game than a "true" rhythm game, but it's still fun), and at the right difficulty, it's really fun to play. If you like flashy graphics, they're there, if not, I believe you can disable them. The big thing, though, is that the lack of music variety (songs are mostly by one artist) makes me not interested in continuing to play the game. Some of the music is good! Most of it is alright! But there's not much that that draws me to keep trying and improving. Having to unlock songs one by one was a bit annoying, but I personally didn't mind that much. So, great game if you either love the music or don't need music to be great to want to play rhythm games. Otherwise, maybe not.
In what other game can I feel like I'm playing Everhood without playing it? It's not a Rhythm game at all, but rather a "Rhythm" based dodge game, where you don't have to have any rhythm at all. Some songs are good, most are a bit odd. I almost experienced all songs just by playing for 40 minutes. In conclusion just play Everhood instead, it's the same principle except more fleshed out.
Cute anime rhythm game what more could you want.
My eyes hurt.
Beat Souls is definitely a very fun rhythm game with much to offer and will definitely help you get better as long as you practice both Normal and Hard Stages several times over, you'll eventually be able to master what the game has to offer, but even when you think you've mastered it all, the Infinite Hell Mode will keep you coming back for more and really push your skills to the test! Overall, I'd definitely recommend this game for the cute and colorful graphics, characters, the catchy music, and the variety in stages that are offered to the player!
as far as rhythm games go this sets the bar reaaaaal low. the gameplay is honestly very unique, but the execution, shoddy graphics, poor music and badly mapped stages holds the concept back allot.
Note: As of reviewing I've only played for approximately an hour! I really liked Beat Souls, and seeing a bunch of negative reviews prompted me to leave a review myself, something I rarely do in general! First off, a disclaimer that I'm not a "traditional" rhythm game fan in general. I enjoy stuff like Rez or Child of Eden, and Sayonara Wild Hearts, that in a lot of ways stray from being a strict rhythm game. I think the music in Beat Souls does what it needs to, and I actually enjoy that it has some diversity but generally is there to provide the backdrop for playing and hitting notes. The gameplay is super enjoyable, managing the different mechanics to the multisensory visuals actually feels more exhilarating than frustrating or nerve-wracking. The bullet hell-like feeling of having to look at the spaces *between* approaching obstacles, while still watching the location of the character and collecting pickups is really fun and de-stressing. I do feel like there is a pattern or flow to the note placements that's subtle sometimes compared to some games (not just the time they appear, but the timing they arrive) that follows the BGM while conforming to the mechanics the game introduces- and getting into a flow seems easier when you're keeping time w/ the tempo. It's different, however, in that the timing to hit the notes is separate, a kind of strange dance due to the the fact that the player must avoid the notes themselves. That's one of the more unique aspects comparable to action/rhythm games where the focus is on dodging, except here the focus is placed both on dodging *and* hitting the notes. It's super fun. The graphics are definitely a case of whether you like lots of colors and flashy visual effects, even during fast sections, but that's part of what I love about this game so far. Playing on controller has been super easy and intuitive, and I haven't experienced any glitches or visual hiccups. And the movement is extremely responsive, a definite Must for this kind of game, I think. Overall, I think Beat Souls deserves my positive, if only because I enjoyed it a lot and thought it was super neat!
