For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.

About
Palo Pori is a beautiful and peaceful village of artisans and tastemakers. Beyond the village’s protective wall, darkness has begun to stir. Ravenous monsters have claimed the land and threaten to sink their teeth into this final morsel of hope and happiness.
Play as Panko, a young, talented chef, helping to run the local eatery. When Panko’s teacher goes missing, a mysterious visitor arrives with warnings of the dangers beyond the wall. It's up to Panko to step up and take over the restaurant and tend to the ingredients and patrons. But that’s not all, Panko also finds himself serving the Caretakers, brave adventurers, sent to save the world. In this adventure, preserving peace starts in the kitchen!

In Palo Pori, fresh is best! Gather ingredients and resources, care for animals and grow your own fruit and veg to build up your very own cozy town to table restaurant. Forage for wild herbs and unlock new seeds to grow to expand your meals.

Chop, flip, and sizzle your way through mouthwatering mini-games as you whip up delightful dishes for the townsfolk. Good food is always better with company, so work hard to improve your cooking and experiment with ingredients, to keep your patrons happy.
Tailor your restaurant to the tastes of your community, develop new meals, progress your know how through a skill tree and adjust the decor to increase your restaurant’s appeal.

You’ll also need to feed the hungry Caretakers; these brave denizens of the land will venture out into the wilds to fight the ravenous monsters threatening the peace of Palo Pori. Each Caretaker hails from their own flavour region, affecting their own tastes and preferences: some like it bitter, some like it sweet and some are just looking to fulfil their craving of the day! Craft thoughtful meals and balance the flavour profiles to boost their spirits, sharpen their skills, and unlock new abilities. Because let’s face it… Who can save the world on an empty stomach?

Now it’s time to put your meal to the test! This is where taste meets tactics. The dishes you serve will build your Caretaker’s deck – each ingredient unlocking a card. And once they’ve eaten, they’ll venture into the wilds to fight the monsters. Upon their return, they’ll recount their journey and play out their battles through a charming puppet theatre sequence. They might even bring you back some MONSTEROUS ingredients from their ventures. Fight the monsters in turn-based deck building combat, inspired by traditional trick-taking card games. Outplay the monsters, by matching their flavour magic or neutralising it with a balancing card. Add an enhancing card to power up your moves! Your magic can turn the tables!
Utilize the unique effects of your ingredients to put your enemies to sleep, blow away their cards, and more, but watch out, you’re not the only one with special abilities. If you’re not paying attention, you might get burned.
In this food-based fantasy adventure, it’s time to give peas a chance! - Are you ready to get cooking?
Unlock the magic in food.

Amazing plot, cute artstyle with a variety mini game, but its too much to the point that it start to feel like a chore in the late game
Historia interessante, mini games super legais e gameplay calminha e divertida, só não aproveitei mais por conta do meu computador ruim, mas recomendo o gato que cozinha e joga cartinha!
I went into this game 100% blind, and good lord is it gorgeous! I looove the artstyle and design that was put into this game. Another thing I was very pleasantly surprised by was how expressive Panko was! I guess im used to AAA games not really caring. I enjoy the silly little cooking mama-esque minigames, and the roguelite sections are simple enough mechanically that they're engaging without being the backbone of the game.

I love the artwork, cooking mini games and work, and the characters. But man, the combat is rough and I really hated it. I'm not upset that I got it on sale and still gave them some money. It's a cute game.
A really good game with a good story, I love cooking in video games and making this the main mechanic for powering up the characters for their adventure was a great choice the combat mechanics were very cool balancing it all around the different flavors.
前期節奏有點緩慢有點小悶,中期各個要素堆疊後變得有趣,後期稍微有一點重複疲勞,玩到最終結局時覺得還想要玩到更多內容,如果有續作也會考慮購買www 結論是好玩!
This game is amazing. It is so relaxed, you can take all the time you need on anything, there is no real clock. Yes, the day progresses, but only through specific actions. The combat is fun and feels very rewarding for the work you did preparing for it. The element interactions are very fun to play around with and all of the meal preparations and puzzles are very satisfying. I've had such a blast playing this game and I will keep playing this game for a long time to come, even just as a way to decompress and find peace and relaxation after a stressful day. I have not reached the end of the story mode yet, but I sincerely hope that there is some sort of post-game content in the form of a repeatable campaign or something. I really don't want this experience to end :')
I adored this game. The creature and character designs were charming and unique, the story was interesting, the visuals of the town were beautiful, and I loved how comfy the game felt to play. I honestly got this game after seeing someone else play where I witnessed the fenpires for all of a few seconds and everything else was even more of a bonus. The paper theater style for combat felt incredibly unique in terms of how combat is portrayed in a game, and it was also really charming. In terms of mechanics, some of the cooking portions were a bit stressful trying to get the high scores (looking at you, sautéing), but I don't personally feel like it was enough to detract from the game. The deck builder portion takes some thinking at times, but I feel like it's simultaneously not too difficult to pull off while also having enough mechanics to balance that people who enjoy a lot more strategizing in games could still find enjoyment out of it. I feel like my only real negative thought for the game is that, once you beat the final boss, that's it. You can only continue the game from before fighting the final boss or restart entirely; there's no post-game content. Which, to be fair, isn't really a true negative. I just want more of the game. XD
I really love the cosy and colourfull ambience the game has, it is also filled with very cute creatures and deep theme for the story. The gameplay is very pleasant for a slow life type of game where you set up your daily actions. I think some quality of life could be added because after a while if you want to expedite things it becomes a bit repetitive and frustrating. I think some more events in game could help break the cycle of repetition in the day part of the game so here are some suggestions that could be some useful in a future DLC or major update for the future: - Introducing an NPC for fishing competition: the fish dimension system is already in but it has no use and cannot be consulted, so an NPC (like a seasoned angler with his boat) with a quest for getting the biggest fish of every type would be a motivation to continue fishing and a mean to unlock new fishing areas - Having a more defined consequence for achieving a good or bad result in the cooking minigames: the only reason to do it properly is for experience that you get even if you do nothing - Getting more of the NPCs to appear in the restaurant at night: I found sad that for example none of the crow siblings or Sunna or Cosli or the doorkeeper would come to the restaurant - Introducing more NPC quests for the day and evening part: like collecting specific items (similar to the pages with recipes), getting a specific item on the menu and making it perfect to please one of the special customer for the evening, with a level of impact on the town depending on how many quest you achieved, like unlocking new plates, new clothing, or new things to buy in the crow shop, or having a discount on the prices on the market. This would increase the livelihood of the town and relate more the NPCs in your gameplay, giving you a more profound reason to care for the town NPCs. - introducing and event for a banquet for the whole town: in correspondence with specific story event a banquet could be hosted for celebrating, requiring a lot more cooking Having said so I really enjoyed the game, it was a very nice and cosy experience!
Cozy game that certainly wins in the art direction department. It got a bit repetitive towards the end, but there were new "tools" introduced to automate collection and such that got introduced at that point. Both the colourful world to run around and collect things in and the paper-cutout battler are good, fun artstyles.
