Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 25 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
The SpongeBob Game We Didn't Know We Needed
First of all, I want to thank the Outright Games team for sending me a review code to experience this game.
Gameplay and Mechanics
Playing as Bikini Bottom’s funniest starfish is an ABSOLUTE CINEMA. The best part about this game is definitely the open-world sandbox. Even though it looks like a game made only for kids, I honestly had so much fun playing it. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3724340361 The driving mechanics are surprisingly great. You can drive literally every vehicle you see on the road! What’s even better is that the vehicles have their own special missions. For a second, it felt just like GTA: San Andreas but in Bikini Bottom. For example, when you get into a food truck, you start delivering food. If you jump into a police car, you get into fun police chases. The side characters and their quests are good enough for a game like this. Even though it starts to repeat itself after a while, it gives you a very solid and fun 4 to 5 hours of gameplay before getting boring.
Graphics and Atmosphere
The game looks beautiful and colorful, just like the cartoon. Walking around a fully open-world Bikini Bottom feels amazing. PEAK CHILDHOOD GEM. The developers did a fantastic job with Patrick. His animations, movements and silly personality are captured perfectly. It feels like you are inside a real SpongeBob episode. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3724341674
Music and Sound Effects
The music and sounds are exactly what you would expect from a SpongeBob game. Fun, cheerful, and nostalgic. Another great thing is that almost all the characters from the show are in the game. It feels great to see them all, though a few minor characters are missing here and there, but it's not a big deal.
Final
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3726046866 SpongeBob SquarePants™: The Patrick Star Game is a wonderful surprise. Making Patrick the main character was a great idea, and the game keeps all the humor of the show. If you like the SpongeBob world and want a casual open-world game to enjoy, you should definitely check it out.
10/100

Played on a Steamdeck @MatureContent
I like SpongeBob and I like Patrick, so a SpongeBob game centered around Patrick sounded like a lot of fun, but unfortunately it wasn't. This is a very different experience to the other SpongeBob games and not in a good way. Where you in the other games run through obstacle like courses, fight bosses and just tag along SpongeBob on fun and crazy adventures, you here just run around completing a series of very mundane minigames, scattered across a small map all while controlling Patrick, an almost harmless starfish that can burp, sleep and roll. While I like all the stupidity in this game and the attention to detail within it. It just doesn't make a good game. The first 10 minutes of the game is fun, but it quickly becomes really repetitive and kinda pointless. You just run around doing odd jobs for sand dollars which don't have much actual use in the game. Your primary attack in this game is a blowing device attached to a wooden barrel and the elemental type depends on which version you picked up. They all have different use cases which relates to the different mini game objectives. The optimization is also bad, I was playing on medium settings with around 45fps average on the Steamdeck and on high settings it was sitting at around 30fps. This is pretty bad when you consider the simplicity of this game and how small it really is. I can't see how I would recommend anyone play this even when it is on sale, it does not offer much and I think playing literally anything else is a better use of your time. ————————————————————————————— Help me out by following my Curator, I’d really appreciate it!!
Do you watch spongebob to relax even though you're 30? Buy the game. These devs were true fans. In the dump there is a cardboard box - and you can drive it. It's got enough to do that it is a real game but it's chill about it. Not all pointless collectathons either.
A few days ago, I broke up with the person I thought was the love of my life. This game was the only thing that stopped me from pulling my hair out and crying like a baby. For a while, it let me forget everything and genuinely switch my brain off. That said, the price is ridiculous. I'd recommend picking it up on sale for around €20 or even €10.
I like it because I get to do all the jobs. My favourite one is shooting the coconuts. I get to hit targets and I get to break lots. The game is funny because he makes us do all these work things and we win. We had to burp all the people out of the sunbathing spot! Review written my my son, 4 years old
If you like sandbox games and Patrick you will like it.
Genre
Ein Open World Sandbox Adventure
Story
So 10-15€ sind völlig OK hierfür 👑 Powered by HoI 4 Deu Curators group in German / English 👑⠀⠀⠀

Follow Main group
 Follow Second group
 Follow third group
the inner machinations of my mind are an enigma
6/10 Spongebob Goat Simulator. It's not as in-depth as one would hope for 40 dollars, and it often feels cheaply made, but it's a good time. Maybe get on sale.
