About
Beacon Pines is a cute and creepy adventure set within a mysterious book. You play as both the reader of the book and its main character, Luka.
Something strange is happening at the old warehouse, and Luka and his friends seem to be the only ones taking notice. Sneak out late, make new friends, uncover hidden truths, and collect words that will change the course of fate!

While helping Luka investigate the strange goings-on in Beacon Pines, you’ll collect special golden charms, each with a word engraved on it. These charms can be used at certain turning points in the story to fill in a blank word and drastically change everything that follows.

As the book's reader, you’ll navigate the story’s turning points using The Chronicle: an interactive story tree that branches and grows along with your choices. Exploring one set of events can unlock new charms to use on another branch, leading you to jump back and forth between entirely different versions of the story in order to unravel the mysteries at the heart of Beacon Pines.

I cannot rave about this game enough! I picked it up in October as a cozy, spooky game for Halloween, and have come back to finish it this week after a few months' hiatus. The style of storytelling and gameplay were a new, completely unique thing for me, having to go back to change the way you approached things. The reveals throughout the story were incredible, the artwork is gorgeous, the music is beautiful... just an absolutely stunning game, I've gone on and on and on about it to my friends! Very well done, devs, I'd love to see more games like this from you in the future! <3
This rules. Fun story, great characters, and the art is gorgeous.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Very nice engaging story.
An adorable yet wonderfully creepy game with a well-written story and beautiful art.
A chill unique type of game where you explore a literal branch of choices. The characters and environment looks so good I wish they had portraits for every character. I expected to get frustrated with with its choice based true ending but the writing and world building is so good I find myself trying to get the wrong choices just so I can see/read more. Overall a very good game, surprising very relaxing, nothing about playing it felt annoying or frustratingly targeted to waste your time. I'd argue this game has what's called "perfect pacing" which crazy to have in the modern gaming space. Highly recommend.👍
Beacon Pines is a game with a storybook style. In this game you can experiment with choosing different outcomes with "charms" which are words that you can pick up and apply throughout the duration of the story with some words presenting late in the story that drastically change things in the beginning at certain turning points. This mechanic offers you a lot of opportunity to explore "what-ifs" as the story takes shape. The story centers around Luka, Rolo, and Beck as the struggling town prepares for an upcoming festival. Each charm or turning point leads to more information about the town and its residents. Some of the things that inspired me to buy (and enjoy) Beacon Pines: The art style is so adorable! I love the little embellishments that some of the characters have. It's clear to me that a lot of time love and care went in to crafting the appearances of the characters and the world they live in. The voice acting is much appreciated. Though it is not fully voiced hearing some of the characters speak from time to time does add a lot to the game. The elements of suspense and horror were such an interesting contrast to the cutesy art. I appreciate that the nature of the game causes you to do a lot of speculation as you try to work out some of the reasoning behind some of the more tragic/sad parts of the story. Rolo, he is such a happy lil guy. I would highly recommend Beacon Pines to anyone who has an affinity to visual novels or narrative driven games. Give Beacon Pines a try! Delve into a storybook and mind the branches as you discover MANY endings to Luka's story.
Very special
Such a beautiful, cozy mystery game! Please make another one!
Vale conferir.
