as a player who played battelfield for 12 years , this is 1 of the worst battlefield ever made . game mods gone , bullets go poof into the thin air , small "COD" style maps , "NETFLIX" style menu which feels like i'm playing a reality game show not a military game , battlefield pro battlepass cash grab , a battle royal which no 1 ever asked for , net code issues and the list continues ... spent 70 usd on this slop and now i regret every cent of it . grab bf1 or 4 on the sale instead o this . u gonna thank me later . imma go back to the legendary BATTLEFIELD 1
I already thought it was stupid that these new, cool game modes were only available for a limited time, but removing game modes that are an integral part of Battlefield Like Rush is just outrageous.
They gutted custom search, which was the only way to play game modes you like instead of their ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ playlists so now you can't even play game modes that are REQUIRED for certain unlocks. Period. Just inaccessible, dead content. An inbred monkey could make better decisions and write better code than the morons at DICE. Uninstalling after countless hours playing this and other battlefield titles. Just sad.
This game is problematic for battle dads like me. It expects me to abandon my family or it kicks me from matches. Vince Zampella understood the struggle and used to not kick people for this. Now you have fatherless losers developing the game. He has died in vain. Amen.
Honestly, I regret paying the full price for this game! Maybe at a discount of 60% or more its worth the money.
Just stress, mayhem, unbalanced, unfair and over rated, not a game you relax and have fun playing especially if you are a casual player. Dominated by clans and competitive teams who jump on casual breakthrough just to pamper their childish egos. Few play as a squad but those that do win. Few understand the simple concept of revive and survive as a team or indeed tactics such as flanking instead blindly follow dumb bots to the meat grinder. There are good players who will work together in as much as is possible but sadly they are few and far between. Most just run around like mindless zombies on a killing spree with no intention of even trying to win. Defence is a joke with Tanks on small maps which ruin everything because they can dominate if your team is full of dummies. Don't get me wrong, you can on rare occasions have fun, but sadly those are few and far between and is more down to luck than design. as for so called AI, well they appear to have forgot to include the intelligence part of that equation since they are more a hinderance than an aid most of the time. Tanks and such are fine on bigger maps but on small suburban maps they just spoil gameplay and on some maps they have a fast respawn rate making matters even worse. Map design is dreadful with choke points and defence position either in the wrong position of their field of fire obstructed. A raw recruit would do better. How can you develop games for so long and still get it so wrong? In conclusion in the end you simply don't want to play this game at all. I'd rather go watch paint dry as it would be a better use of my time and money. However, I don't suppose the developers really care, they got their money. On to their next rip-off excuse for a game and we will once again doll out our money like the fools we are. I understand that the player base is dwindling, which is not surprising when the mindset of the hardcore players is such that rather than encourage and help new and casual players (which keeps the game alive) they instead deliberately set out to grief public/casual players. Not the way to build a community which in turn helps everyone. Grow up.
You think you bought a game when you paid for the product? Nope, you bought an access to some parts of the game. Want to get some weapons and claim your rewards? Buy BF PRO or BattlePass or some other bs.
Secure Boot and TPM needed.... Boss man - this is supposed to be a game. Not a freaken CompTIA lesson.
Battlefield veteran since 2006 on Battlefield 2 PC. I have logged thousands of hours played in Bad Company 1 and BC2 on the Xbox 360, then BF3, BF4 and BF1 on Origin. Skipped Hardline, BFV and 2042. After testing out Battlefield 6 for 109 hours, I can tell you that this game is an absolute trash of a dumpster fire. It doesn't know what it wants to be. It shares no identity or connection to it's previous Battlefield entries and on its own, it stands completely soulless. Even if you get it on a sale, you're going to get mopped up by wannabe CoD sweats that are all ranked above Rank 100 or 500+ hours and the way that DICE designed the weapon unlock system completely takes the fun out of the game. All of those YT videos that you see praising the game are mostly part of the EA Partner program who are paid to shill this turd box. This is not Battlefield. I have to wake up to the fact that old DICE is gone.
