Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 18.29/day in the week to Jul 30 → 17.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Batman™: Arkham Origins is the next installment in the blockbuster Batman: Arkham videogame franchise. Developed by WB Games Montréal, the game features an expanded Gotham City and introduces an original prequel storyline set several years before the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City, the first two critically acclaimed games of the franchise. Taking place before the rise of Gotham City’s most dangerous criminals, the game showcases a young and unrefined Batman as he faces a defining moment in his early career as a crime fighter that sets his path to becoming the Dark Knight.
The Arkham Story Begins: Batman: Arkham Origins features a pivotal tale set on Christmas Eve where Batman is hunted by eight of the deadliest assassins from the DC Comics Universe. Players become an early-career Batman as he encounters for the first time many of the characters that shape his future.
Enhanced Detective Mode: Think like Batman with an all-new Case File system that allows players to analyze seemingly impossible-to-solve crime reconstructions in real time. Combining Batman’s cowl sensors with the Batcomputer, players can digitally recreate crimes and study detailed simulation of the act as it happened.
Gotham City will learn to fear Batman: Take back the sprawling streets of Gotham years before its transformation into Arkham City. Glide above or battle your way through new and ever more dangerous districts in the quest for justice. Prevent crimes in progress, take down gangs of violent new criminals and explore deadly new locations, from the impoverished streets to the penthouses of Gotham’s wealthy.
Gotham’s Most Wanted: The city streets are filled with more than just Black Mask’s assassins. Locate and take down Gotham’s most violent and dangerous criminals to earn unique upgrades.
Lethal New Enemies: Fight new foes such as the Armored Enforcer, the Martial Artist and more – each of which challenge players to approach Batman’s FreeFlow Combat scenarios in different ways. Classic FreeFlow combat is expanded with every new opponent – and with Batman’s abilities to engage them.
New Gadgets: Utilize Batman’s signature gadgets or take advantage of powerful new additions such as the Remote Claw, the Concussion Detonator and more. Use the Remote Claw to create new routes by deploying strategic tightropes or directly attack enemies by stringing them up from vantage points. Ready the Concussion Detonator to stun and disorient groups of opponents in close combat.
New and Familiar Characters: Experience a fresh take on iconic Batman characters including Black Mask, Penguin, Deathstroke, Bane, Deadshot, Anarky, Captain Gordon, The Joker, Copperhead, Firefly and others yet to be revealed.

the neglected child of arkham games batman arkham origins arrived carrying a burden it did not earn. developed by WB montreal rather than rocksteady, released in the shadow of arkham city, dismissed before the disc finished loading. the consensus calcified quickly; competent but unnecessary, a prequel nobody asked for made by a studio nobody trusted. I find this consensus rather harsh origins places you in gotham on christmas eve, the city blanketed in snow and under siege. a bounty has been placed on batman’s head. eight assassins are loose. there is a sense of urgency to resume christmas this is not the batman you know. he is younger, rawer, driven more by anger than discipline. roger craig smith voices him differently to kevin conroy; there is an edge to it, a volatility, that communicates something xonroy’s composed authority never needed to. this bruce wayne is still being forged. hou feel it in the exchanges with alfred, who spends much of the game visibly worried rather than quietly assured. alfred pushes bruce toward gordon. bruce refuses. that friction is human in a way the later games, with their established hierarchies of trust, cannot replicate. the foundations being laid throughout origins are one of its quietest pleasures. harleen quinzel appears here as a professional; composed, credentialled, entirely intact. barbara gordon begins her quiet pivot toward oracle. gordon himself views batman with suspicion, the GCPD as much an obstacle as any assassin. watching these relationships exist before they become what we know them to be lends the whole game a different texture. you are not simply playing a batman story. you are watching the conditions for every batman story assemble themselves. if there is one domain in which origins surpasses the rest of the arkham series without qualification, it is the boss fights. deathstroke is a fair duel: demanding, precise, the kind of encounter that made me feel genuinely outmatched as a child and still commands full attention now. matching firefly on the bridge; bombs to disable, the infrastructure of the bridge failing around you, grappling onto him as he tears across the sky. it is one of the finest set pieces the series has ever produced. origins understood something about boss design that the other entries did not always grasp. the joker thread here is great. the story of how he finds himself. how meeting batman gives him something he did not previously have; purpose, opposition, meaning. when Batman saves him, when the joker wants to go out swinging and bruce pulls him back regardless, the nature of their relationship suddenly makes complete sense. getting to play as joker unpacking it all is a delight in itself. if you are coming to the arkham series for the first time, please don’t rule out arkham origins. chronology demands it, and it earns everything that follows. all of it is seeded here: the trust between batman and gordon, the tragedy of harleen quinzel, the oracle friendship, koker’s devotion. the weight of what comes after is felt more fully if you understand where it began. the neglected child deserves its flowers. go play it. go for the deluxe edition on sale while you’re at it. for a price tad bit higher, you get the cold, cold, heart DLC which is worth checking out, it adds substantial content to the game.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 9: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

This game has so many technical hiccups its actually insane. It has crashed in so many different ways/scenarios, that I am actually starting to lose my mind. Ive never had any of these problems with the other arkham games and it really saddens me give this one a thumbs down because the game itself is actually pretty good. I might try to power through this one, but I cannot recommend the game simply because of all the technical issues.
The oft-forgotten child of the Arkham universe holds a strange position when playing the series fifteen years later. It's certainly lesser than any of the Rocksteady games, but it's also still ~mostly~ good. It's a prequel, but by being yet another Joker story it dilutes the arc of Asylum and City. I understand what they were going for by recasting Batman and Joker's voice actors (more likely WB wanted to only pay them for Knight) and they do a great job here, but not having Kevin Conroy is detrimental to any undertaking. 100%'ing decades later is a chore greater than City. Lots of progression and content is missable. You definitely need the community patch at the minimum. Having to play a third time on "I am the Knight" mode is annoying. You also need to download a mod to re-enable the shuttered multiplayer to grind that out, if you care.
game crash in killer croc fight not yet fixed after so many years of release.
I pirated this game before and I have re-played this game TWICE. Loved it every time. But when I decided to buy it on steam, I find out that it's a glitchy piece of ♥♥♥♥. I literally can't even finish the Kroc fight because he keeps disappearing. There's also audio issues. Screw you devs, I decided to finally support you and this is what I get.
Batman: Arkham Origins isn't as polished as the other Arkham games, but it's still a fun Batman game. The story is good, the combat is as enjoyable as ever, and the snowy Gotham atmosphere gives the city a unique feel, even if the open world itself feels underused. Bruce and Alfred's interactions are a highlight, and most of the boss fights are fun, with a few ranking among the best in the series. One of the game's weakest aspects is its progression system. Many upgrades are locked behind "Dark Knight Challenges" instead of being earned naturally through the story or XP alone. Since several of these challenges have to be completed in a specific order and can even be permanently missed until another playthrough, progression can feel unnecessarily restrictive and frustrating for players who just want to enjoy the campaign. There are still a few bugs and glitches, the Enigma data packs eventually become a chore to collect, and several unlockable character skins and Challenge Mode rewards aren't very useful during a first playthrough since they can't be used in the main story until New Game+ or a fresh save. *Cold, Cold Heart* is short but enjoyable, with a strong Mr. Freeze story that doesn't overstay its welcome. Overall, it's a fun Batman game and definitely worth picking up during a heavy discount sale.
I don't usually leave reviews for games. But this game hit me different. To be honest, Batman Arkham Origins gotta be one of the most underrated Batman games of all time. When it comes to ranking the Batman Arkham games, people usually put this game at the bottom of their list. But for me, this game would be no. 1 with no doubt at all. This game can easily compete with Arkham Knight and Arkham City in terms of story, battles, and gameplay. Its only downside would be its graphics and its vibe (ofc nothing beats the vibe and feeling of playing Arkham City for the first time, iykyk). But you could really change these by lowering the brightness and playing with the graphic settings a little bit. If I were to rearrange the ranking list, it would be: 1. Batman: Arkham Origins (No. 1) 2. Batman: Arkham City (very close fit) 3. Batman: Arkham Knight 4. Batman: Arkham Assylum
Jogo muito subestimado, com muitas críticas injustas. Um dos melhores jogos da série, com diversas cenas heróicas que te botam na pele de um verdadeiro herói. Uma trilha sonora impecável, durante as melhores boss fights da franquia.
