Fantastic game, a lot of the gameplay elements were later used in Hades. Brilliant story told in a really fun, unique way through the narrator. Artistically it's beautiful. There are lots of weapons and special abilities with plenty of upgrades to be had. The difficulty can be increased through Idols similar to Heats in Hades. Combat feels responsive and fun, especially nearer the end of the game with later weapons. The Kid would highly recommend this game.

A Supergiant classic, highly recommend. The narrator slaps. The soundtrack slaps. Darren Korb, you absolute menace. The gameplay is solid. The narrator slaps. The story is... There I guess. Did I mention that the narrator slaps? Logan has been an absolute superstar in all the games I've heard him in. Play this game if just for the narrator.

Played this game as a kid and recently bought it again and its as good as I remember. One of my favorite games of all time, the hack and slash combat has a lot more depth than hades or hades 2 especially with the weapon combos. Pike and musket is fun since you can cancel the pike endlag with a musket shot leading to massive burst damage. The graphics are showing a bit of age but after playing awhile you quickly get used to it, for being 15 years old the graphics hold up extremely well and the amazing art design more than makes up for the low resolution. I wish they'd make a remaster or a sequal that builds on the combat because this game deserves it.

Even background lore like the different factions, only mentioned by name, make the world so engaging and interesting [*]So many small details in the world, like small interactables in the hub world, and unique dialogue for each weapon combination [*]One of my favorite OSTs of all time, the ending song of this game hit so hard that I can't even explain the feeling and impact [/list] [h2]The Bad[/h2] [list] [*]There's genuinely nothing bad about the game I cant think of, nothing feels wasted or tedious, every part of game has meaning. Though I'm writing this review many years later since I've played, still so many vivid moments in my mind, I cannot recommend this game enough

Infelizmente o tempo pesou para este jogo, aos comandos não correspondem muito bem, não tem legenda em português e a gameplay é claramente inferior ao que veio posteriormente pela mesma empresa "Hades", fica nitido que ali foi a base pro sucesso, mas, ele por ele, não vale esses 43 reais. Espera uma promoção, quando tiver 5 reais ai você pode dar uma chance, ainda sim, boa sorte.

Gran juego, recuerdo haberlo empezado hace años en otra plataforma pero hasta ahora pude terminarlo. El estilo de arte es muy bonito, la historia interesante, la jugabilidad va muy bien. No es demasiado corto pero tampoco excesivamente largo, y tienen opción de nuevo juego plus, lo cual es grandioso. Realmente es una joya como todo lo que hace Supergiant Games, no es mi juego favorito de ellos, pero es bueno. Recomendado.
