Bastion

I wouldn’t go so far as to call Bastion a cornerstone of video game history, but it’s definitely a platformer worth experiencing. The soundtrack plays a key role in its appeal, while the simple and immediate gameplay is its strongest point. The light RPG mechanics are fun as well, and considering it’s an indie title, I think it fully deserves its 8/10.

Constant crashes

A decent little indie action game with absolutely top notch presentation. The graphics of this game are good but what really stands out is the OST and voice work, which are both completely stellar! The gameplay itself is alright; it controls fine but I find the action to be not as satisfying as I'd like. Not bad at all, just nothing too revolutionary!

Bastion es una pequeña obra de arte. Su estilo visual pintado a mano es precioso, la música acompaña de forma magistral y la narración dinámica le da una personalidad única. Cada nivel sorprende con su diseño y variedad, y el combate, aunque sencillo al principio, ofrece muchas posibilidades gracias a las armas y mejoras. Lo que más destaca es la atmósfera: todo transmite calidez y melancolía al mismo tiempo, con un relato que se va construyendo mientras juegas. Es de esos títulos que dejan huella por su originalidad y cariño en cada detalle. Un imprescindible para cualquiera que disfrute de experiencias memorables, cortas pero intensas.

Beautifully told narrative. I played through the game in one go because I simply could not put it down. Going to think back to this for a long time.
