[h1]바틀로우스 드레드 머신[/h1] [h1](바틀로우의 무서운 기계)[/h1] ​ 3D 3인칭 슈팅 게임. 스팀펑크 스타일의 아트워크와 기계 장치의 연출이 멋있다. 스토리는 주인공인 미국의 요원이 악당들에 의해 납치된 미국의 시어도어 루스벨트 대통령을 구출하는 내용이다. ​ 인형극을 보여주는 기계인 "바틀로우의 놀라움의 기계(Bartlow's Machine of Wonders)" 위에서 게임을 진행한다. (왜 기계 이름이 게임 제목이랑 다르냐고? 낸들 아나...) 주인공, NPC, 적들 모두 기계 위에서 돌아가는 기계 인형이 된다. 다른 일반적인 슈팅 게임들과는 다르게, 대부분의 경우 2차원의 레일 위에서만 움직일 수 있다. ​ 게임의 얻은 돈을 가지고, 각 스테이지가 끝나면 상점에서 무기, 옷, 아이템 등을 살 수 있다. 그런데 돈이 너무 조금씩만 나와서 물건을 사기가 어려운데 짜증난다. 게임 스테이지에 돈이 생기고 나서도 몇 초 안 되서 사라지고. ​ 게임 진행하면서 기본 캐릭터 이외에 특수 캐릭터를 얻을 수 있는데, 특수 캐릭터로 플레이하면 캐릭터에 종속된 특별 무기를 얻을 수 있다. 게임이 기본적으로 총알, 체력같은 자원이 부족한데, 특별 무기는 상점에서 구매한 무기와 별도로 가지고 다닐 수도 있고, 상점에서 사는 무기보다 좋은 특별 무기도 있기 때문에 특수 캐릭터는 필수적으로 얻어야 한다. ​ 단점은 플레이가 너무 평범하다. 스팀 펑크 스타일 + 레일 위에서 움직이는 것만 특이하고, 그 외에는 전형적인 3인칭 슈팅 게임과 큰 차별점이 없는 것 같다. 스토리도 뭔가 진지한 걸 넣어보려는 시도를 하긴 한 것 같은데... 전체적으로 너무 초딩용이고 유치하다. ​ 난이도는 슈팅 게임을 잘 못한다면 초반 이후부터는 살짝 어려운 편이다. 플레이 타임은 7시간 정도. ​ 총평으로, 게임이 나쁘지는 않지만, 너무 평범해서 남들에게 추천할 정도는 아니다. Love the game, the only problem is that it's uncompatible with custom launchers due to the need of having steam open to be able to load the game.

For what it is, its decent.

Muito bom para jogar com amigos e filhos. Jogo totalmente diferente dos outros que já joguei, cada fase um desafio diferente, as vezes você como um navio, um carro, um dirigível, adorei! Nota 10

Its a funny game and has a nice art style. Very unique game idea.

The art and the music are good, but its a bad game. The camera hide enemies and make hard to the player to know where exactly the shots will pass above barriers and where it wont. The game constantly will put more enemies than space to move to avoid the damage. It makes enemies lock you and you cant move. Hitboxes are messy as well. This game has the most horrible menus i ever seen. It makes a work so bad with the enter/space thing that even when i finished the game, i werent familiar with it. Other decisions like doesnt have a quick menu to select phases, the unskippable 'cutscenes', etc make me think the developers didnt test this game. You can still have some fun, but there is a lot of better games out there.
