The story is quite unique and refreshing in a sea of genre lookalikes and remakes/remasters. The lip-syncing is lackluster at most times, but the script is intriguing, the locales nicely varied (for the setting) and combat engaging so it is easy to forgive some of the game's shortcomings. Occasional UE5 stutters could not deter me from the fact that the two main leads were doing a great job of pulling me into the world. About to complete this at the 40 hour mark, but I can see easily sinking in some 10-20 hours more with side missions. Overall, quite a good game as I came for the story and I am happy because at that front Don'tNod do not disappoint! 8/10 for me
Good game! Almost everything is top-notch - the story, the voice-acting, the atmosphere, you name it. Combat...well, let's just say that the game wouldn't have needed combat in the first place, but here we are...at least you can decrease the difficulty (almost) any time you want.

ich wünschte mir hier einen mittleren Daumen Don'tNot kann Charaktere und Dialoge, und hier kriegt man beinahe mehr als man will. Banishers ist sprichwörtlich nicht Fisch, nicht Fleisch. es zeichnet spannende Geschichten und erzählt sie in wunderschön gesprochenem Englisch. Den wunderbar vertonten Dialoge kann ich durchweg lauschen, - Reds Schottisch ist super. Dazu kommt ein Kampfsystem, was kreativ wirkt, und dann doch sehr schnell langweilig wird. Banishers will etwas zu viel sein ich war dann doch sehr froh, als es vorbei war. Der Geschichte wird das leider nicht gerecht, da hier Hingabe, Liebe , Verlust und Abschied so wunderbar exzerziert werden. Dauen hoch, weil ich Don'tNot lieb hab
