Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 14 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

PSA: Baki will perform a neutral block when no buttons are pressed. There are some moves that can only be defended this way! The game doesn't tell you this, so I'm telling you now. PSA 2: Before each fight you can select 'Beast' or 'Demon'. These are difficulty levels (beast is lower, demon is higher). There is no indication that these are difficulty levels in the UI itself, so I thought I'd tell you. FYI: I have only beaten 7 of the 12 opponents in this game so far, so my review reflects only that portion of the game. TLDR: Pros: - The gameplay is nearly perfect if you're looking for a punch-out clone Cons: - Very little content for the price - Low production value - The tutorial and UI fails to explain some important things More Details: Pros: - The characters looks like official Baki artwork, and the animations look great. - The game feel is super tight, responsive and satisfying. - The design of each opponent has so far been very good. Each one seems to introduce a new subtle way to trip up the player, but it doesn't take overly long to figure it out, and the solution always makes sense and feels good. - There seems to be a good amount of room to optimize your play against the opponents, so this could offer some good replayability for players that are into that. Cons: - This is a very bare bones experience. You have 2 difficulty levels, 12 opponents, and a survival mode. This is pretty light for $30. - There is a strange design decision to give the opponents lingering hitboxes, which means you can dodge an attack and still get hit if you come back to neutral too quickly. This does add challenge, but doesn't feel too good. - There is very little in terms of polish/production values. No voice acting, cutscenes are pretty much very short slide shows and a dialog box. - music is very forgettable - The game fails to give you some important information (specifically the 2 things I mentioned above the in the PSAs). These aren't a big deal once you know about them, but at first it's confusing. - The lower difficulty level is still quite difficult. Having a third, lower difficulty level would probably have been a good idea. Despite the fact that I listed more cons than pros, I actually really like the game. The core gameplay is pretty much exactly what I wanted, so that's all that matters to me.

I mean I'll play it cuz I like baki but i wish it was a different kind of game, baki is perfect for a fighting game almost every character has their own fighting style and signature move. missed opportun
I REALLY wanted to like this game, but I found the fighting mechanics to be somewhat simplistic, clunky, and the animations to NOT match the video gameplay. The video was definitely sped up on the store page. Even more disappointing was the fact that there were no voice actors! They could at least have a narrator for how few characters you can play against! There's only a handful so I'm not sure why there are no actors in this. The game is not worth full price, let alone half but if you get it on a huge discount then maybeeeeeee consider it. I wouldn't pay over 7 or 8 bucks for this honestly though.
