An immersive wandering simulator through the endless Backrooms. Explore empty corridors, listen to their whisper, and lose yourself in the depths of dark spaces. A subtly oppressive atmosphere, meditative strangeness, and the feeling of an alien, silent world.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 2 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Update - 25.11.2025
The game is currently in Early Access: I’m gathering feedback and gradually expanding the experience.
The project will be regularly updated with new chapters and content - this is part of my long-term development roadmap.
At the moment, the game includes the “Pool Rooms” chapter, with an average playtime of ≈ 45–60 minutes. I will be adding new sections and details to this chapter over time.
The interface is still minimalistic: there is a simple menu with basic settings.
The current settings include image quality adjustment and a frame rate slider to help tailor performance to your device.
An expanded settings menu (with additional options and improvements) is still in development and will be released within the next few weeks.
You can think of this game as an atmospheric installation where you don’t so much play as observe, listen, and gradually sink into the space. There are no quests or puzzles - only occasional moments that require attention. Most of the time, you simply… exist within a strange, enveloping world.
Note: the atmosphere may feel oppressive. The game plays on fears of getting lost, darkness, emptiness, and endless rooms. There are no dialogues or music - only distant echoes and the natural sounds of the environment. Movement across certain surfaces can be slower, making the experience more realistic and heightening the tension. There is no traditional story, yet the environment slowly changes, revealing new spaces and hidden meaning in each area.
As of now (25.11.2025), the game includes one large chapter, which takes approximately 45–60 minutes to complete.

So, after buying the game again, because despite the lack of options the game still had promise, I opened the game, and to my surprise, everything is completely gone. Gone. The dev decided to remake the game, and while that is all fine and dandy, it has been months without a single word, after removing almost everything from the game. To the dev; do you realise this is not how to do something? The people who actually supported the game saw themselves with a barebones pool level, a promise of a remake, etc, and as per Steam description, a new settings menu in the "coming weeks". December was the last update, almost half a year where most of the game was removed and no way to roll back to a previous version. This is extremely bad management of a game and the support your players gave you. If it's taking that long to remake everything, create a beta branch to roll out to a previous version. Many devs do that and like that, players can at least play a bit more of the game. Original Review: Pains me to give a negative review to it, as I enjoy most of it, but, the lack of a save system, and most importantly, an option to remove head motion, makes this game drop from an 8 out of 10 to a 3. Its a shame, that in this day and age, devs have to be constantly reminded that some effects, like head bob or camera shake can make people seriously ill. And while that still happens Ill start to give a negative review to any game that doesn't give option to remove those effects. (I'll change my review if and when this option is added.)

this is seriously a rubbish game, like not even good at all and no settings what so ever to lower sound or rebind controls, it also has sounds ripped straight from call of duty zombies. There is no way I would replay this game again not even with updates, it seriously is a 3/10 even the environments feel very bland. STILL A VERY TERRIBLE BLAND GAME NOT WORTHY OF YOUR TIME WHEN THERE IS FAR BETTER GAMES LIKE POOLS ON STEAM.
So far, this strikes me as one of the best Backrooms games! Graphics and design are good, with some creepy and unsettling environments both visually and through the audio! Good story and well-written notes from previous explorers... I'm looking forward to future developments!
Just completed the game! Its a fantastic realistic backrooms game with alot of fun levels, awesome graphics and supa fun gameplay. A super chill relaxing backrooms game with plenty of content!
Uh... Don't let the demo fool you. This game is good. Underrated. Has a killer atmosphere and does things a little different. Also has a pretty good story told through notes you find scattered about the levels. Graphics are nice and clean. Controls are solid. Performance on my end was smooth at a solid 60fps. Great sense of oppressiveness in certain areas. Like being inside a living machine. Even in parts that are open there is a slight sense of unease. All around this game for me is 10/10. Very impressed. And this is coming from someone who played the demo when it first came out for 8mins and turned it off because I thought it was cheesy. Came back to it tonight. Finished it and thought, hold on. I wanna see what's beyond this point. Instantly bought it.
i think i ended up refunding this the first time i played it, but gave it second chance now that its apparently fully released. they say on steam page that "No stressful chases, no overwhelming dangers", but there definetly is monster chases, i got jumpscared by 2 of them. at least the pitch black dead end maze area chase from first level was removed. there was couple actually really cool areas in the game that i really enjoyed vibing with, but as a whole its not that great. im giving it thumbs up for those few cool areas though.
No lie, I could barely power through the first level because it creeped me out SO much. I usually don't feel creeped out much by backroom games, but this one scared the Mario coins out of me. There are also so many levels! Honestly for this price point, this is much more bang for your buck than most backroom games that cost way more. Just don't play it alone lol
Fantastic game. I finished level one, but it did not go to level 2. it just started back at level 1.
Atmosfer çok iyiydi. Hele o fısıldayan oda çok korkuttu. Ama level 1 30dk da bitti ve başarımlarda no cliplemek ile ilgili bir başarım vardı hoş olmadı arayamam hocam o kadar. UI/QOP
I have to say this game brought a breath of fresh air... I was getting tired of the usual Backrooms stuff... New Gate, even if it looks like the usual "Backrooms" game, has its own logic. I really hope the developer adds more about the story... creating a solid backstory in the Backrooms setting is a winning move...
