About
Play alone, or team up with friends (or strangers!) in up to 6-player co-op. Enjoy hilarious moments as you watch them die from the horrors you encounter, as proximity voice chat carries their screams down the halls.
Encounter dangerous entities from across the Backrooms as you push deeper through each level. Each entity has its own behavior and way of hunting the player. Learn what they react to and how to survive.
Explore photorealistic environments, handcrafted to feel unsettling. Life like visuals and spatialized audio remove all barriers between you and the game. Start in the yellow halls of Level 0 as you descend deeper into the Backrooms.
Every level brings its own environment, mechanics, and threats to survive. Even within the same level, each attempt brings different layouts, item spawns, and entity encounters. No two runs are the same.
Backrooms: Escape Together is a co-op survival horror game featuring lifelike graphics, proximity voice chat, and horrifying entities. You and up to 5 friends must make your way through 11 fully procedurally generated levels using what's available to you to progress deeper into the Backrooms.
Every level is a mini-adventure of its own, hosting unique gameplay, puzzles, lootable items, environments, and entities. Levels will be added constantly throughout Early Access as we grow the game into the best multiplayer experience to date.
Sums Steam only; PlayStation, Xbox publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

This game isn't fun for me. Every level so far out of the 5 I have played are just very big, mostly empty maps, with very little danger, and unsatisfying tasks to complete that feel more like a chore to complete than something fun to do in a video game lol. The hardest level so far was the second level you encounter but even that wasn't that difficult. The monsters feel underwhelming and not very threatening and just overall the experience was not super enjoyable. Here is another large map with the same copy/ pasted assets sprinkled in, maybe there will be an enemy for you to face and maybe there will be no threat at all, and find the few key items scattered about and your done with that level... Rinse and repeat. That's it. extremely underwhelming gameplay and the most fun i had playing this was when I actually got to interacting with the monsters but even that aspect of the gameplay was still just okay and meh at best. That is if you even got an enemy to face in that level... Overall If you're looking at this through rose tinted glasses of love for the backrooms as a whole you might be happy with this but I personally COULD NOT shake the feeling of "this is bad game design" with the unnecessarily large empty maps, lack of threatening enemies, and "oh cool I have to slowly search this huge map again to figure out what I have to do and how many copy/pasted rooms will I have to search for "x" amount of items.". The game is pretty but simply feels like a chore to play and I cannot recommend it because of that. This game in its current state is a 3.5/10 for me.

Nice Gayme
This was my first Backrooms game and I enjoyed it a lot, I will stay tuned for upcoming updates!!
