Explore photorealistic environments, handcrafted to feel unsettling. Life like visuals and spatialized audio remove all barriers between you and the game. Start in the yellow halls of Level 0 as you descend deeper into the Backrooms.
Every level brings its own environment, mechanics, and threats to survive. Even within the same level, each attempt brings different layouts, item spawns, and entity encounters. No two runs are the same.
Backrooms: Escape Together is a co-op survival horror game featuring lifelike graphics, proximity voice chat, and horrifying entities. You and up to 5 friends must make your way through 11 fully procedurally generated levels using what's available to you to progress deeper into the Backrooms.
Every level is a mini-adventure of its own, hosting unique gameplay, puzzles, lootable items, environments, and entities. Levels will be added constantly throughout Early Access as we grow the game into the best multiplayer experience to date.

You know what? This game was honestly a lot more fun than I expected. The atmosphere is probably the best part. It really nails that weird and unsettling Backrooms feeling without relying on cheap jumpscares every five seconds. The sound design and environments kept me on edge the whole time, especially when playing with friends. The co-op experience was great. Running around trying to figure out where to go, solving puzzles together, and occasionally freaking out when something started chasing us made for some really funny moments. We were constantly saying "what is this place?" and "NOPE, RUN!" xD If I had one complaint, it's that it's a bit short. We finished it and immediately wished there were more levels to play. That's honestly the biggest compliment I can give it. I wanted more. Hopefully the developers keep adding new areas and content because the game has a lot of potential. Overall, if you're into Backrooms games or just want a fun co-op horror game to play with friends, I'd definitely recommend giving this one a try. Looking forward to whatever comes next!
Absoluter Crossplay-Hit mit Suchtfaktor – Wir wollen mehr! Wir haben das Spiel zu zweit im Crossplay (PS5 und PC) gespielt und sind absolut positiv überrascht! Erst einmal ein riesiges Lob an die Optik: Die Grafik ist wirklich krass und sieht richtig gut aus. Das sorgt zusammen mit dem Proximity-Live-Chat für eine extrem packende Atmosphäre. Das gemeinsame Erkunden, Verstecken und Erschrecken macht im Koop unfassbar viel Spaß. Wir hatten geniale, extrem lustige und gleichzeitig super gruselige Momente. Einziger Wehmutstropfen: Das Spiel ging für uns viel zu schnell vorbei. Wir wünschen uns hier definitiv noch viel mehr Content, Level und Updates für die Zukunft! Ein kleiner Kritikpunkt zum Pacing: In Level 0 (den klassischen gelben Büroräumen) tauchen die Monster gefühlt etwas zu schnell auf. Meiner Meinung nach würde es der unheimlichen Atmosphäre guttun, wenn man anfangs etwas länger völlig orientierungslos umherirren müsste, bevor die Bedrohung aktiv wird. Das würde den psychologischen Horror und das "Backrooms-Gefühl" noch viel besser transportieren, bevor die Panik ausbricht. Insgesamt aber eine absolute Kaufempfehlung für Horror-Duos! Macht riesigen Spaß und wir hoffen auf baldigen Nachschub!
