For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Axon TD infuses a new layer of strategy into Mazing Tower Defenses. Typically, you build towers on the path to obstruct enemies and make the path longer. But what if you could take control of the map layout itself and expand things directly? In Axon TD, you're given a brush, and the map is your canvas!

The name of the game is map manipulation. Place down tiles to make longer paths and support more towers. Tiles can also bridge to various islands scattered around the map; these provide entire new chunks to maze with. On various maps, you can even place a new destination point!

A roguelite mode where you face the gauntlet of randomized maps, towers, and techs. Adapt to a rapidly expanding map area and take advantage of an accelerated tower technology progression. Surviving earns you a place on the global leaderboard.

You play as a defense contractor on a routine mission. As you arrive, your ship is shot down, and you're attacked by a robotic force called the Axons. Your only way off the planet is to fight. Build towers against hoards of enemies, progress through a tech upgrade tree, and defeat epic bosses! You may even find out the truth behind the ongoing war…

While we have created a lot of singleplayer and co-op maps, there is no doubt that unique and novel experiences which we didn’t think of exist. One of the founders of our studio started game development by modding games back in WarCraft 3. So, we understand the importance of player created content. The map editor gives you all of the tools needed to create any singleplayer or co-op map that we could create ourselves.

Online co-op supports up to 4 players. With maps designed for 2, 3, and 4 players you'll find a wide variety of battlefields to conquer and make your own. A global leaderboard allows you to see how you compare to other teams. Will your team come out on top?
Both the Campaign and the roguelite Survival support 2 players.

With so many map layouts at your disposal, you want a huge arsenal of towers to play with. Dozens of towers, each with their own effect, fulfills that need. Towers also have three possible upgrades, and these upgrades add either new effects or change existing ones.

What complements a ton of towers and a lot of maps? A wide variety of enemies having different abilities, of course. From those that move faster around corners to those that teleport nearby enemies forward, the Axons are devious in their onslaught.

打破传统塔防固定路线限制,可以自由搭建道路、建造迷宫让怪物绕远路,几十种防御塔各有三条升级分支,游戏还支持四人联机,不错不错
This is one of the best TD games out there. Defense Grid is still the best, but this one is very close. It has a load of gun, and extra options, like adding tiles which makes the posibility to choose your own tactics very, very broad. There is a good story, great levels and lot's of gameplay options. Everyone who loves TD should definitely not miss this awesome game.

I'm surprised I waited this long to try this game, it should probably get more attention/praise. It's fairly quick to learn the basics of how this tower defense game works, but it's got a LOT of depth, tower interactions, the way sometimes the games 'in universe' tower manufactorer matters for synergies, the variety of enemy types, and the reclass freedom you have to design your own maze. This game has a TON of replayability, and the multiplayer is a blast. My only complaint is that I wish survival could be played with more than 2 players (up to four would be great)... oh, and I wish you could just 100% turn off the 'story' nonsense in campaign mode.
on discount, not otherwise.
Axon TD: Uprising - Tower Defense is a creative interpretation of the tower-defense formula that gives players far more control over the battlefield than the genre normally allows. Developed and published by Element Studios, it builds its identity around map manipulation, turning the terrain itself into an important strategic tool. Instead of receiving a completely fixed path and merely deciding where towers should stand, players can expand sections of the battlefield with tiles, lengthen enemy routes, connect isolated areas, and, on certain maps, establish new destination points. The result is a game where designing the battlefield can be just as important as defending it. This freedom makes individual matches feel more like evolving strategic puzzles. Creating a longer route gives defensive structures more opportunities to attack, but simply stretching the enemy path is rarely enough. Tower coverage, available building space, resources, enemy behavior, and future expansion all need consideration. Connecting another section of terrain might provide valuable room for additional defenses, while a poorly planned expansion can create an awkward layout that wastes the potential of powerful towers. The mechanic rewards experimentation and gives players considerable freedom to develop their own solutions instead of constantly searching for a single intended placement pattern. The defensive arsenal complements the flexible maps well. Axon TD offers 40 towers and traps along with 10 castable abilities, providing numerous tools for dealing with incoming forces. Towers also have three upgrade possibilities that can modify their existing characteristics or introduce additional effects. This gives progression more tactical importance than simply increasing damage numbers. Choosing towers that complement one another and positioning them around carefully constructed routes becomes central to succeeding against increasingly dangerous waves. Enemy design adds another layer to this system. More than 35 enemy types appear throughout the game, and some possess abilities specifically capable of disrupting conventional mazing strategies. Certain opponents move efficiently through corners, while others can teleport nearby units forward. Such characteristics force players to reconsider routes that might otherwise appear perfectly optimized. The game consequently develops a satisfying relationship between terrain design, tower combinations, upgrades, and enemy counters. A maze that dominates one situation may require substantial adjustments when different Axon units enter the battlefield. The campaign gives these mechanics a structured setting across 40 levels. The player assumes the role of a defense contractor whose routine assignment goes badly wrong when their ship is shot down. Stranded and attacked by a robotic force called the Axons, the protagonist must fight through the opposition, develop technology through an upgrade tree, defeat bosses, and gradually uncover information surrounding the larger conflict. The narrative functions mainly as motivation for progressing from one defensive challenge to another, but it provides enough context to make the campaign feel more cohesive than a collection of unrelated stages. For players interested in unpredictability, the roguelite Survival mode is one of the more appealing additions. It combines randomized maps, tower selections, and technologies with rapidly expanding terrain and accelerated technological progression. Players therefore have to adapt to the resources and opportunities presented during a run rather than depending entirely on familiar strategies. Survival also feeds into a global leaderboard, giving experienced players an incentive to refine their decision-making and compete for better results. Multiplayer expands the strategic possibilities considerably. Online cooperative play accommodates up to four players, with maps created specifically for groups of different sizes. Both the campaign and Survival can also be played cooperatively by two players. Coordinating tower choices and resources is already important in multiplayer tower defense, but Axon TD adds another consideration because teammates can effectively participate in shaping the battlefield. A coordinated team can plan routes, establish complementary defensive zones, and divide responsibilities in ways that make cooperative matches distinct from solo play. The amount of supporting content is another notable strength. Beyond the campaign and Survival, there are 21 Quickplay maps, 18 cooperative maps, four Survival maps, and a PvP mode featuring four procedurally generated maps. Leaderboards cover several modes, providing additional motivation for players who enjoy maximizing efficiency and comparing results. Cosmetic tower customization adds a smaller element of personalization without interfering with the underlying strategy. Perhaps more important for long-term replayability is the included map editor and Steam Workshop support. Players can construct their own single-player and cooperative scenarios using tools intended to provide substantial creative freedom. This feature fits Axon TD particularly well because unusual terrain configurations are already fundamental to its gameplay. Community creators can experiment with unconventional layouts and challenges, potentially extending the game's lifespan well beyond its developer-created stages. The primary drawback is that all this flexibility also increases the learning curve. Players looking for a simple tower-defense experience where most decisions revolve around choosing upgrades may initially find Axon TD demanding. Understanding the relationship between terrain expansion, enemy movement, tower effects, technological progression, abilities, and resource efficiency takes time. Mistakes made when shaping a map can also have consequences later in a battle, making planning especially important. Visually, the game prioritizes functional readability and a stylized science-fiction atmosphere over spectacular presentation. This approach suits the genre because players need to interpret paths, tower ranges, enemy movement, and battlefield changes quickly. The robotic Axon theme also gives the numerous enemy encounters a consistent identity, while the growing maps provide a visible representation of how dramatically a defensive strategy can develop during play. Ultimately, Axon TD: Uprising - Tower Defense succeeds because its central innovation affects virtually every other system. Map manipulation is not a minor gimmick added to conventional tower defense; it changes how players think about routes, positioning, upgrades, enemy counters, cooperation, and replayability. Element Studios supports that foundation with a sizable campaign, roguelite Survival, multiplayer, PvP, numerous towers and enemies, extensive standalone maps, leaderboards, and community creation tools. It is best suited to players who enjoy complex mazing, optimization, experimentation, and finding increasingly clever solutions to strategic problems. Its additional complexity makes it somewhat less approachable than simpler examples of the genre, but anyone willing to learn its interconnected systems will find a remarkably flexible tower-defense experience with substantial room for experimentation. Rating: 8/10
Throwback to classic tower defense games. A great balance of mazing and smart tower placement is needed to master this game. The towers all have their roles, and the enemies ensure that you place your towers strategically. There have been a lot of great TD games recently, but I got this one due to the co-op. I have been playing co-op exclusively and it is great. Definitely recommended to anyone who got into the genre back in the Warcraft III days!
