Sadly, I must state this game is simply put : not recommended at this point in time. The environment is pleasant if dated with some exceptions,(One being a notable section in a pond. Very disconcerting being "underwater" and having look the same as being above the water.) The visuals reminded me a lot of Myst actually. Voice work is functional. The dialogue was subpar. (A case in point. The PC swears at an NPC with no real provocation? Just because a request was made? And no other dialogue options for the PC to use if they wanted to negotiate or be more diplomatic?) Combat and movement are sluggish. Weapons are few, though I understand there are more on the way. Which brings us sadly to the game's progress. The developers have promised an update which is extremely overdue and communications have been downright glacial. I am actually concerned about this being abandonware. I understand that this is Early Access but that means you need to be more verbal about delays not less. If you are interested, I would say wait six months then check and see what has happened. If the project has moved forward, then see what is going on in the forum. If it seems genuine forward motion has been made then maybe invest in Avenging Angel. Otherwise, stay away.

oh god what is this monstrosity. i paid 90p and i want a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ refund this instant. list of reasons why you shouldn't come anywhere near this game 1)it's not even optimized and high graphics is an impossible goal as well as looking ♥♥♥♥♥ anyway 2) i shot a tree and it dinked. DINKED. DIDNT KNOW I WAS PLAYING CS. 3) I move faster crouching and sprinting than i do standing and sprinting 4) instead of just moving backward normally, you have to double tap shift to actually move backward quickly 5) trying to skip a conversation plays it from the beginning 6) you can literally walk straight through buildings 7) if you get to a certain point, trees become jpegs in the words of Jontron: Would you buy that? Nonya'll would buy that, ya ain't focking stupid.
To sum up in English : you like Jay Z, greazy donuts and be covered up with petrol ? This "game" must be for you, as it is ugly, hectic and sleazy. It is the absolute zero all ways. Even if finished one day, it would have been a bad game in 2000
THE STEAM AWARDS RETURNING THIS DECEMBER YOU NOMINATED THIS GAME FOR: When is this game going to be finished? EDITED on 06/19/2018: So its finally in a finished state and released, or is? I'm going to just make a few comments and still keep my review as recommended. There is a major amount of small bugs and the game has crashed on me an hour in. Starting a new game, I'm able to jump past the start mission drop zone in the airship and then leap into the open sky, nothing blocks you from doing this. The front area has no openings that allow you to do this, only the rear. There is lots of spelling mistakes, very easy ones to spot with double "a a" for example, those I can ignore and are easily fixed. The roman numeral that is being refered to is wrong, XIIXXIMMXII is a wrong format. I'm not sure yet if this is on purpose or the developer doesn't know how the system works. Controls are a mess when using a xbox controller. You can't swap the Y axis so I can't play with a controller to test it some more. I did try to change some of the binding controls and I noticed that the left and right triggers were not allocated, so I tried to set to them Left and Right attack but then I'm told they are already assigned to another command. I don't know if they forgot to have it show that its already set for these two commands because they are blank or its something that isn't showing on the UI. The UI has, again, many small bugs but nothing breaking, just annoying when using a controller. Pressing A on a menu tab doesn't move it to the right side menu and pressing B doesn't bring it back to the top menu. You must press left and right on the left stick to do this. Press Y anywhere here set your configuration to default and it resets ALL even if your in video tab and you press Y, your sound will reset back to normal as well for example. I also noticed the little white vertical bar that tells you what tab your currently on can show on two menu tabs while using a controller, this could be because it isn't disabling the mouse properly here. When you do start the game, miraculously that sloppy ugly menu transforms into a nice graphical layout that works much better. Gameplay is where I am enjoying the game so far. I had to switch to mouse and keyboard here because I can't invert the Y axis but its pretty solid. Picking up quests tbc....
Feels like a highly rough proof of concept. Barely playable, and devoid of any sort of entertainment value.
In it's current state the game is almost unplayable. 1 Controls are sluggish, 2 Instructions are vague and inaccurate 3 Weird bugs I should expect in Early access (I jumped through a wall and got stuck on the other side!) That being said, it has potential when it's done.
This game feels like a timemachine, and that's not a compliment. Everything feels like it could have been okay ten years ago, but even then it wouldn't have been a great success. The combat is one big joke, enemies simply walk at you and when they hit you it doesn't feel like anything happens. The same goes for when you hit them, you just shoot 2 bullets and then reload and after a few times the enemy drops and you continue. There isn't really a clear path to follow, you just walk into dead ends with a few enemies and a container to loot and you'll have to walk back and find out where to go. Normally finding out where to go and exploring the map can be fun in some games but in this game it just feels like you're wasting your time. The game supports a controller but even once I put the aiming speed of it at it's maximum it still moved very slowly, which makes the contoller simply unusable. Using the keyboard and mouse does work but still doesn't feel very comfortable. The game is simply a pain to play and is at it's current state simply not worth playing. There are better alternatives for this price.
Good idea but Messy finalization
First of all i want to start by saying that the game is still in early access and the developers are planning to work it on till end of 2016, wich means they still have over a full year to fix all the issues and polish the game. Graphics: From images and reviews the graphics seem to look good, but i myself have done 3D modelling for around 5 years and it seems like the game has a small normal mapping issue or something similar since everything is really shiny, even objects indoors that should not have any shine to them looks like someone is pointing a flashlight at them. Most of the textures ingame seem too simple, often either 1 single texture tiled over the entire models like tables or chairs makes it look little lazy, but they are still working on it so i hope these are just placeholders. Im also not too keen to the level desing since lot of the places dont have too much detail on them. Sound: The game seems to lack sounds as it doesent seem to have music at all Bugs and optimization: The game doesent seem too bad at first but once i managed to get to the second area (Forest) my framerate dropped to 15fps, now i have a fairly powerfull system running on GTX970 but the game still seemes to struggle to keep it decent, even when i set everyting to "Low" the framerate was only 25fps, so framerate seems to be a big issue here. What comes to random bugs i seemed to found a weird one where you walk into a sign and it launches you 100 feets up in the air. The game also seems to have a really strong motion blur that kind of want to make you vomit after a while but you can always turn it off. When increasing field of View and looking down you can actually see trough your body. Movement and controls: The character movement seems little slow and jumping sometimes doesent seem to work and the character jumps backwards in a slow weird manner. The game also features a stamina system that is insanely high, meaning you can run probably 15 minutes untill it depletes completely. World: Everything seems to look way too shiny to really enjoy the actual visuals but the game seems to give you freedom on where to go, alltho it doesent exactly give enough info to understand where your suppose to go, making it really disorienting and wanting to just walk aimlessly in the woods and expecting you to just find something to look at. In all and all the game isint too bad, it has quite a solid foundation to it, but all the minor bugs and weird texture problems make it not too enjoyable at the moment. If in the future they manage to make it look better and get all the bigger things sorted out, the game could actually be really good, but for now i suggest peoples to wait maybe till 2016 and look back if any major updating have happent.
E' fatto molto male, molto noioso, vi bloccherete spesso e, come me, lo abbandonerete per sempre. Peccato, dalle immagini sembrava anche carino..
