I love when they make fighting games off of shows like this They got Rollback, Crossplay, a cool look since it's all hand drawn and the price is low and the movement and gameplay is fun its amazing I hope paramount keeps supporting this game the team has done a great job
Avatar fan so maybe a little bias but this is easily fighting game of the year 2026. It actually performs great (unlike another certain marvel fighting game that just came out) and its insanely fun to play. Its basically an indie game so while it sucks it didnt launch with ranked, 3 characters unfinished and a bad story mode I can excuse it. Easily THE fighting game you should be playing right now if you like fighting games! 8.5/10 will easily be a 10/10 with updates.
Honestly might be the greatest fighting game I've ever played, at least now in these early days. The amount of creativity you can get from the basic tools is astounding. The depth is also off the charts I don't know if its possible for humans to master this thing. It's like a cross between MVC2 and UNI2 and might go down as one of the all time great fighting games. It's unfortunate that it's launched without ranked because this is an extremely deep game based on a children's IP sold to a very wide audience. It really needs some safe spaces for beginners to figure this thing out, and also use SBMM to matchmake outside of ranked. I'm fairly experienced with fighting games and I still got my ass handed to me the first 50 or so games.
Avatar Legends Fighting Game is actually one of the best fighting games I've ever played, no cap. This game is just straight-up FUN. New players can hop in, mash some autocombos, and still feel like they're doing cool ♥♥♥♥ instead of getting steamrolled. But the more time you put into it, the more the game opens up. The skill ceiling is OD, with tons of room for optimization, nasty setups, and player expression, so even veterans have plenty to sink their teeth into. The oki is fire, the movement feels clean, and every character got their own gameplan. Nobody feels like a reskin—you actually gotta learn the matchup. I also love that there isn't some universal braindead anti-air button. If you wanna shut down jumps, you actually gotta commit and make a read, which creates this constant sense of controlled chaos. Rounds get fast, scrambles happen all the time, and both players are forced to adapt on the fly. Unlike M. Night Shyamalan's Avatar, this game actually makes you feel like a real bender. Your normals and specials have crazy range because you're controlling the elements instead of just throwing hands, and that opens the door to some really unique combo routes and conversions you don't really see in other modern fighting games. The bending isn't just eye candy—it's baked into the gameplay, and that's what makes it feel so damn satisfying.
This game is too hard for a game with license, 1 frame can cut you entire combo Roll back bugged no ranked wrong image for cara Training no random guard So much missing for a launch of fighting game in 2026
yur
Mid. A lot of bugs, QOL and balance needed. Worth a shot though.
One of the best fighting games for real fighting game enjoyers in years. Missing some simple QOL features and polish at this time, but the core game play is already there and great.
