Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 11 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The concept is great and the art is fantastic. I really wanted to love the game but the reason I wouldn't recommend this is that I just don't find the game satisfying and intuitive to play. It's leaning very hard into old school hardcore action games where it's very easy to get damaged and very difficult to damage. The game has attack animations but that doesn't really matter because if you touch the enemy at all, you'll get damaged anyway. Attacks also come extremely quick. The difficulty in this game is very knowledge-based. It's very easy to dodge attacks if you already know how they're gonna come. Otherwise enemy attacks are almost undodgeable. The disconnect between giving the player fast movement, a dodge button, a parry button but the attacks can't be dodged unless you already know how the attack's gonna come makes the action unsatisfying to play. So which is it really? Is the game supposed to be action-based or is it knowledge-based? Good action games have a good balance between the two, but here the pendulum swung completely on the knowledge side. I feel like I'm playing an arcade game trying to rob me of all my tokens. Yeah, I could just play as the Ranger and make the game easy using guns, but I really wanted to play as the Warrior. Unfortunately it doesn't make me feel like a warrior. I feel like a guy walking in to a gun fight with a knife. The time window for parrying as a Warrior is brutal. He just holds up the shield for 0.3 seconds then has to wait for a ~6 second cooldown. And as I mentioned before, attacks come super super fast. You will find it harder to parry in this game than to parry the hardest bosses in Sekiro. Can I finish the game? Yeah. Like I mentioned, if you know how attacks come then you know how to finish the level. The rest comes practice. But I'm gonna be honest... in the year of 2026 where there are tens of thousands of alternatives for entertainment, I just can't justify making the time to practice just enough to fully beat the game. I think 15-20 years ago Astebros would have made a name for itself. It's not like the game has to change drastically. If I were to change the game, I would very slightly slow down the attack animations (maybe extra 0.1 second up to 0.2 seconds) and buff the Warrior's parry by increasing the parry window by 50%-100%. Then I would separate into Normal mode and Classic mode, where the former only damages you on attack animations, and in the latter you get damaged when the enemy touches you. I think with these changes, I can give this game as double thumbs up, and it'll even be in my top faves. But overall, I just can't see myself giving a recommendation. The gameplay is not inherently satisfying. it brings me back to the Mystara beat 'em up games. The art is amazing and the theme is interesting, yet the action is completely rigged against the player. That game was designed to burn through arcade coins. This one isn't an arcade game though.

It's alright. Controls are decent, good pixel art and the monsters are varied enough. The gameloop is very simple but it didn't feel repetitive at any point for me, even after playing the same character from the start until the end. A few annoying things I encountered: - What's the point of being offered a weapon with nothing but negative traits, such as "common weak" or "common slow weak"? - You cannot look down but the AI notices you from below, waiting for you to drop down. - The bestiary feature is always cool, until you tie it to a completion % and make the entries ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ RNG drops from the monsters. You can increase the drop chance with a perk... which you also have to find randomly. This ♥♥♥♥ has to stop, NO ONE enjoys this. - Talking about perks, the perk that freezes the game for half a second every time you get hit, to give you time to dash and dodge the hit makes the whole game trivial. - Fire and poison dots on the other hand can be ridiculously painful for some reason. It's a short game. I got 10+ hours on it because I left the game open while afk and because I went for the 100% completion and good ending, which I must say were not worth it. Boring grind for three lines of dialogue and an extra dungeon mixing areas à la the void from Isaac, minus the stupid boss.
Jogo simplesmente sensacional e divertido! jogabilidade boa que prende, vários powerups e variedade de inimigos e armas.
手感不错
Un excelente juego como los antiguos
A modern feeling rogue-like for my favourite childhood console. The game is a grand old time. I didn't get to try the coop feature but the game holds on its own in singleplayer. Also, the Steam purchase comes with a ROM that you can load onto a flashcart.
One of the best Genesis games. Easily slots itself as a top 20 for the console thanks to the everchanging, unrelenting and yet fair gameplay that impresses graphically, the subpixeling on display rivals even metal slug. The multiplayer is somewhat badly balanced in terms of enemy health, and it's a bit glitchy but it does a lot well.
я бы вдул рорику❤️❤️❤️
Really damn fun, amazing music and sprite work. Bosses kick my ass but I keep coming back for more.
