Controller support is broken so I can't recommend this game. Two different PC's and the same reliability issues. I managed to improve things which I'll elaborate on shortly but why is a nine year old game still broken ? Anyway here's what I did. I took Steam offline and this helped. A game you can't play without an Ubisoft connect account but a game that's unplayable WITH an Ubisoft connect account ??? The mind boggles. As well as doing the above you can also go into the games options and manually select your controller. Mine was previously set to auto switch. After this the issues were 90% fixed. Still a pain in the neck but borderline acceptable. Avoid unless your passion is for acting as Ubisoft technical support.
