Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Reviews
Very poor game. Very poor story, no life to the game. First 3 games, Odisey, Origin and Black Flag are more epic with so much life and interactions with them. This one is so bad.
I really wanted to enjoy this game, but the technical experience completely ruined it. The game suffers from constant stuttering and terrible frame pacing, regardless of graphics settings. I tested everything from Low to High settings, limited the frame rate, moved the game between different drives, monitored temperatures and hardware usage, and even performed a fresh Windows installation. Nothing fixed the issue. I also tested the game on Linux through Proton, where performance was even worse, despite many other games running perfectly fine. My hardware is not the problem. During testing, my CPU and GPU temperatures were normal, there was no throttling, and the GPU wasn't even fully utilised. Yet the game constantly hitchs for no apparent reason. After spending hours troubleshooting instead of playing, I've given up. A game released years ago should not require this level of technical investigation just to achieve smooth gameplay. Ubisoft needs to do better. I cannot recommend this in its current state.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 4: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Latest in each market: best CN #71, worst PL #100 · 8 markets collected
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 5.57/day in the week to Aug 11 → 8/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Was ok, would recommend buying it on sale. I do not think that the full price is worth it.
**played entirely on the Steam Deck as of this review, docked mode on a 4k TV. game was set to 800p upscaled with SteamOS' built in upscalers** coming from someone who played all the mainline Assassin's Creed games from 1 to AC4 Black Flag- this game was a pure treat in terms of gameplay and setting. It has almost everything I wanted from a modern AC game. the story is still not as compelling as the original games like the Ezio trilogy or the Kenway trilogy, but its serviceable enough in the maingame. But the DLC has one of the best storylines in an AC game- ever. It legit made me emotional, and I dont think any AC game except a few moments in the Ezio storyline made me feel this heavy. The pros -> Brilliant map design. Baghdad is one of the BEST maps I've played for parkouring. extremely fun and convenient, so many ways of just jumping around from rooftop to another in almost all directions. -> parkour system. I am aware that it mostly uses Valhalla parkour system with slight changes and it isnt as complex as Unity's parkour system. but there's a lot more freedom to it in this game because of the free jumping and directional jumping. -> the setting. this middle age arabia setting is where AC thrived in its debut game AC1. a real treat to return to the middle east again after a long time. AC Revelations also returned to this region but it didnt feel exactly the same. -> music. though not all of the OSTs are memorable, some are. and I really appreciate the native instruments they used for some of the tracks. -> good optimization- the game ran fine in my steam deck. played it docked and medium settings. ran mostly at 45 FPS locked, though it did dip to 30s in heavy city areas. -> the combat. I like that it isn't busted like it was in AC3. its got a stamina bar for dodging and attacking but parrying enemy attacks restores it too. because the combat is designed like this, the game encourages stealth play more than brute forcing. the elite enemies are genuinely a threat, they parry Basim every easily and also throws a bunch of knives, its really hard to get them down (but there are a few cheese strats like baiting them to run towards an elevator and insta kill them like that, its always funny to do that legit feels like tom and jerry lmfao) -> customizable difficulty- I like this feature a lot. I tried to make my game feel as "realistic" as possible (AC games arent realistic and they dont try to be, i know. but for funs sake). so I set all damage to max (both receiving and dealing), added fall damage too, but kept HP bars for both the player and enemies around the same tier. it was really good, a high stakes high reward difficulty. -> 6 gadgets to use from (but you can clear the entire game without any extra gadgets beyond the first 2 you get normally) -> good map size. its not a bloated mess, it feels decently packed. the desert section isnt incredibly long, no where near as many collectibles as the other AC games. -> Almost accurate recreation of some historical sites. this is the standard AC maintains themselves in almost all entries, nothing surprising here -> the visuals are pretty good. The characters dont look the best, but the environment certainly does. and for AC games, the environment is the more important character than the characters themselves -> the DLC animations and cutscenes. its a huge step up from what the base game had. The final scene with Basim and the old man was extremely well done and it was clearly mocapped unlike any of the other cutscenes the base game had. the mids and cons -> story is ehhhhh. it draws more heavily from what Valhalla had (I didnt play the myth trilogy, only read plot summaries and watched a few cutscenes). I mean I get it, this game was supposed to be a big expansion for Valhalla anyways. -> Basim as a characater. I am mixed about this, because he IS an interesting character and probably one of the most compelling characters in recent years. he'd make a good protagonist. but for a game that's dedicated to him, his arc feels rushed. the DLC did flesh him out a lot though -> no explorable Alamut. biggest missed opportunity. let alone any screentime of other assassins of the group -> sluggish character movement. the parkour is great, but the claim of Basim being one of the "fastest" assassins when he sprints and runs like a grandpa is a funny irony. -> very few enemy types- like theres just 4 enemy types I think. a basic sword fighter, a big mace guy, and archer, and an elite. -> weird notoriety system. like you can instantly get down to zero notoriety if you kill the elite assassin the game sends out after you if you're at max notoriety. -> no memorable NPC, both fiction and non-fiction wise. there are some recurring NPCs yeah but none of them are nowhere near as memorable as suppose the likes of DaVinci and all that. -> basic facial and cutscene animations. its just slopfest, nothing impressive for base game. so do I recommend this game? I absolutely do. its good and mindless fun. A good break from other games that may be more difficult or taxing. a solid 8/10 DLC included. the story is weak but the gameplay makes up for it. the only good parts of the story is reserved for the DLC only and thats very short like only 2 hours but gets the job done. I also finished this game, unlike Unity or Syndicate where I only started those games and dropped em early or midway because they felt quite boring to me and also the funny glitches unity had
